Hi, I just installed it and noticed that whenever I choose a PRESET it will show the "Edited" indicator on both Axe Edit and Front Panel. Even if I save it, when I go back to that preset it will show "Edited". Is this normal or expected behavior?

Not wasted at all. I combined the Dyna 4x12 5153 with dynamic mic and 4x12 USA Mc90 and it is indeed glorious! I am impressed by how far my tone improved after setting the Input to no clip at 17.7%. Fishman Moderns are hoooot!

You can share the preset without the cabs (you can export it with the cabs too, it's all in the Export options on AxeEdit). I have Cab Pack 13, Cab Pack 19 and ML Zilla. Maybe you use one of those.

It will be certainly a good piece of gear, but I'm sure our black boxes can achieve the goal just as good if not better than the pedal. Certainly the hype as with the ProTone pedal is the selling point, I ended with one of those ProTones and was a good OD, but really worth it.

The Yamahas has been in my home studio for a while and I love them. Adams are really good but they're more expensive. I personally didn't think I would need something more than 5" but a speaker this size usually lacks definition and low end during critical applications.

XL " Boot Rom " ..... is it the *same size* as the XL+ " Boot Rom " ..... ?

The differences between the XL and the XL+ were the newer display, lower noise floor and I think the encoder knob. Nothing else, both share the same specs.

I've had my XL+ for almost a year now and it has never sounded this good. Incredible harmonics, tight low end, soaring mids and buttery like highs. This release is a milestone for guitar modelling altogether. Great work FAS!

I am aware of Jam Origin. But its latency and problem recognizing lower notes has kept me away from it. I don't want super realistic VST solutions, I want "alike" sounds so I can create ambiance and mockups seamlessly. I achieved this using my old copy of Revalver so I guess the Axe FX could do...

Mic options in the cab block

Even though there's no need of adding additional mic emulations, you can get some tasty tones adding them. If you set the parameter to Null, you can use the mic controls shown on the cab block.

Problems with backup

You can back up the entire Bank A with Axe Edit and saving them as individual presets (just select all the bank and Export). As most have posted, the problem is likely to be a broken preset.

Hi, The title sums it all. I have several Cab files (.wav, .syx and .ir) that I would like to know HOW to differentiate from their UltraRes 1.0 or normal IR file. Can this be checked on CabLab or in the unit itself?

Is the CPU usage increase a thing on this update? Some of my Hi Gain profiles were at the 37% CPU usage and they're now at 54% (around 20% heavier). Using a XL+

Bought it... Still tweaking it to my liking. I find it funny how different they sound compared to other cabs IRs I have tried and bought... These sound more alive and closer to the real thing.
