Quilter Tone Block as Power Amp for Traditional Cab

I have the TB200.Simple hook up and strait forward tone controls.As of now I am using a the EV zlx12.For the money Tone Blocks are awesome.Very underrated imo.Mine has the Di out.

I use to run a Tone Block into my RedPlate 212 open back cab.It sounded amazing.I just ran in to the front of it and set the tone control flat.The cab has WGS speakers.I think the tone blocks are a great low cost option and sound amazing.

Best low weight live solutions for Axe FX?

So far it has been great,I have not A/B'd with the high end stuff but at GC i did compare it to other pa speakers.JBL,Mackie etc.Yes it is not true FRFR but thats ok,neither is the venue pa system.A little eq when needed and it sounds good.Again most of the time I run direct FOH but all my tones...

I have mine in my rack,It is the easiest way to adjust the sound and it gives you the amp knob feel.The only problem in a good way is remembering all that it can do.The ability to do an instant adjustment makes it the best.

Cab IR's on or off?

I will mess with it some more and see what I like best.I only tried it once with the Ir's off into my 212 cab and that was before I started to make my own patches.Maybe it was some weird eq or global setting.I bought it used and have since reset and updated the os.
