Just like on the Axe, most useful block in that unit for me

Volume issues, I am not loud enough apparently (I though the neighbors complaints ment the opposite)

It seems like you may have a lot of low end, It might be a good idea to put a Highpass filter, and point the cabs to you, maybe lift them from ground. Note that will get rid of a lot of "rumble" but will make you hear yourself way much better. Also, take care of those cabs, you might overpower...

Switching between guitar and bass presets?

When I play my 10string (chapman stick-like instrument) which is stereo, I send the bass and treble signal both into the back Input 1. Then I just take the L or R signal and process them separately on the Axe. Note that if your bass and guitar have very different output levels you might have a...

Output level for bass too low?

Check that Master Vol. Trim is at least at 1 (If you double click it, it goes to 0.1). If verything looks fine, then just raise the Vol trim (or the master level). I usually put the Master Vol at 10, and output around -10db and that gives just enought output (0db or so on the VUmeter).

Output level for bass too low?

Yep, some amps are really quiet (e.g. FAS bass, nice amp tho). Go to the utility/Vumeter, and check if you are around 0db.

Matrix gt1000fx bridged mono into 400 watt bass cab?

Use it on stereo, you'll get 300w, your cab will be safe, and it should be ok to be heard in most scenarios. I run bass thru the axe into a 250w powered cab (fEARful clone), never used it more than half its power at rehearshalls. Live I go directly to FOH, and use the cab as a monitor :D

Matrix gt1000fx bridged mono into 400 watt bass cab?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Matrix delivers 1000w at 8ohms in bridge mode. That will likely fry your cab. Use only channel A in Stereo mode, if Im not wrong, you'll get about 300w from that, which is fine for your cab ;)

    Wooly Mammoth -ish tone?

Let me know if you get something interesting. The closer tone I got was playing with fuzz face and bit reduce mixed with original signal to make it usable :P

    Wooly Mammoth -ish tone?

Hey guys! Has anyone managed to get a good ultra gated fuzz (alla mammoth, almost a sinthy one) on the axe? I've been struggling to get that, but couldn't, since I'm new to the axe. Any suggestion would be apreciated!
