LEAD VOLUME LEVELS

I still use a volume pedal/block that has +5db as a max. Easy to control your levels and can add a bit of dynamics when needed.

Axe rack stand

I have the 212 Gemini FRFR and a 5 space SKB rack for my AXE, patchbay. I was thinking of adding two folding shelf brackets to the back of my Gemini. I could easily balance my SKB on top my cab and save floor space? It also would get it off the ground and make it easier to tweak if needed...

I made the change from a RCF NX12 SMA to the Gemini 212 for gigging and it was a game changer for me. I have always liked the sound of 2x12 or 2x10 amps and I seem to get that fuller sound on stage. FWIW

I know it's not a pair, but I'm digging a stereo Mission 212 and have found it to be great on stage. Heavy, but I put some wheels on it and they seems to be holding up well. Just another thought.

Don't forget you can use the looper to audition cabs. Try a bunch and see what you like. Not rocket science. I try not to overcomplicate the process. You can tweak after that and get closer to what you are looking for in the tone.

A Deluxe Tone I Can't Achieve

The original tweed Deluxe 5e3 came with Jensen Alnico speakers, mostly P12r or P12q’s. I have an old black frame P12R organ pull in mine that sounds fabulous. I’m saving the original Jensen.

I own a '60 Deluxe. One of the secrets with that amps tone is the speaker used. Make sure you pick a IR that closely mimics an old Jensen. Nothin like them in my humble opinion.

I agree with dialing them in at 90 DB, with the caveat being that I try doing that in a larger room. My studio is small compared to the stages we play on. FOH should be done independently from your stage FRFR. I try to use two outputs on my presets, one FOH and the other my monitor. FWIW

Is invert mini displays coming to FC6-12?

The new Firmware has the Invert built in for the Mini displays. Question, is there a Invert for the Large displays on the FC's? Looks strange with the Mini's Inverted and not the larger display?
