Can someone explain to me exactly what this switch does. I see it only shows up running a stereo cab. I see some of the new presets released for Q 8 have the switch on and some have it off. I've never used it and not sure what it's for.

yea UO37 I have one of my own ir's in there so I get sound. But at least 20 to 30 of the 128 presets point to that user cab slot in X position in the axe fx MK1 preset folder. The first one is 013 Mesa heavier rhythm the next Diary of Jane. I can give you a whole list if you want. I put all your...

Hey Fremen, Can't wait til you come out with Q7 presets. When I deselect and reset the amps in Q7 they lost their magic. The only Mesa I'm having any luck getting to sound good is the IIC++ amp . But I'm loving the JCM 800 #34. Love your presets. Ready to buy whenever you get them ready.

I am getting no control screen on certain amps like the JCM 800, AC 20 and shiver clean. Axe FX MK2. Some amps I have the control screen, like my Friedman's and Mesa's.

Hey Fremen, Do whatever works for you. I have the mark 2 and I have been messing around with the converter. It works ok on the single presets but I haven't figured out how to load and save a bunch at the same time. I'm not sure if it will do banks or not. Hopefully we won't have to load and save...

Amps models.....too many?

Ive had the black box 2 years now and just got the JS JVM's in the last update. So all I can say is thanks FAS for still giving me free stuff 2 years after my purchase. Also thanks for the new JS JVM's. They kick ass....Keep those new amps and all that free stuff coming....

Anyone using the new Friedman ASM 12 FRFR monitor. Reviews on that.

I have 1 ASM-12 and I would but it again. They will dent easy and the handle is definitely in the wrong spot. I played in 80's rock bands and currently play from blues (Bonamassa style) to rock worship music and the ASM-12 does the job very well. It's the closest thing I have used yet to give me...

Cable Question

Hey Guys, I just got a Friedman ASM 12 and it only has a XLR input. I want to hook it up to Output 2 because in my home studio I have my Studio monitors hooked up to Output 1. Output 2 is unbalanced 1/4 in. So what cable is correct for this. TRS to XLR or TS to XLR or does it not matter ?

All music equipment is personal taste. I'm sure no one plays the exact same guitars or likes the same effects or plays the same style music. But for me, I started modelers with a line6 HD pod then went to a eleven rack and then to the Axe FX. Now i'm done. I found exactly want I was looking for..

Thanks FAS for the quick update to a minor issue. I believe in one day after the bug was detected he had the fix and a FW update. Wow..I had a eleven rack for 2 years before getting the Axe FX in 2013 and I never got a single update from Avid......

Thanks FAS for the free updates. You cant get that anywhere else. I love the new delays and that #55 cab. I've been spending some time working these in some of my presets. I will be testing it all out including my new Friedman ASM 12 at rehearsal this Saturday. Can't wait, Thanks again.......
