Output knob setting?

Where are you guys setting the Output knob on the front panel? I’ve sorta stayed around 10 o’clock.... but wondering what everyone else is doing.... and if you notice a difference.

Unity Levels: USB vs OUT1 into Logic

So I’ve tinkerer with those before.... I see USB 1/2, USB 3/4..... AES/SPDIF, etc. Rolling all 5 of those input levels all the way up and down have zero impact on the level Logic is receiving. Am I missing something here?

I’m curious if there is position on the Out1 knob that is considered “unity” with what the Axe3 is sending to Logic via USB? And on a similar note.... is there a way to control the level from USB? I haven’t been able to find that in my searches

Def open to a good convo about the pro’s and cons. I think the frustration came from replies that completely dismissed the idea that anyone could need this feature. As for tapping... I’m used to seeing the decimal because I use an RJM GT22.... and it taps with a decimal in the display...

That’s fair on the wheel spin..... I’ll admit I wasn’t considering that issue, since I either dial a preset in with tempo on Axe Edit, or tap in on the fly. An alternate consideration (outside of the global option parameter, which I’d be totally fine with) would be to take the Strymons...

Then ingore the feature if/when it’s implemented. The same way I ignore the 200 other dials that I don’t need in the Axe that exist. Not sure what you have to lose here. And for the record.... I CAN tell when my heavy dotted eighth syncopated delay feels slightly off because the track is at...

Man.... you guys are bound and determined to make this request more complicated than it should be. I also play at a church and have to sync with WHAT IS GIVEN TO US. Having a decimal point in the tempo would be fantastic and would alleviate all the work arounds we already know how to do. If...

as for the new drives...... I'm absolutely LOVING them! Timmy 2, King of Tone and Lovepedal OD11 models are killing it! Just added them to my rig as staples... and can't stop playing them. Well Done on these drives Cliff!

Thank you! Thats the response I was kind of expecting, but wanted to confirm. It would work if you could assign a DIFFERENT CC for each individual scene.... which was what I was hoping maybe was possible! But it appears not! Thanks Chris

is it possible to use an analog tap tempo pedal (standard momentary switch) to tap in tempos on the Axe3? I realize the best option a midi controller, but at the moment, that’s not a possibility.

Same.... I can navigate to other frequencies.... but the highlighted blue marker doesn’t follow along.... so you are blindly tabbing across frequencies until you begin to adjust the value knob.... at which point you can now see which ones you are on. I reverted to 2.05 and reloaded 3.0 just...

I uploaded 3.0 last night.... everything was just fine when I turned off the unit and went to bed. Walked down this morning, flipped the Axe back on, and my main preset just vanished. There is no grid and the preset name reads "Empty". This has happened multiple times since I've had the Axe...

Im right there with you.... until there is some more direction about what was actually changed, and what is needed to be tweaked in 3.0 to keep the same tones and feel I had in 2.05..... I'll just sit on the latter.

I’ve downloaded 3.0..... reverted to 2.05..... back to 3.0.... and now back to 2.05. I’m finding my tone across the board to be a bit muddier, less tight, and not as articulate. Bummer.... I’ll sit on 2.05 for the time being.

Trying to create Scene +/- toggle buttons on my PBC

How would I go about programming 2 buttons on my RJM PBC that scrolls up and down through scenes? I can't figure out what CC's I'd program to make this happen.

Delay/reverb cut out during scene switch with PBC

I have made multiple scenes with the exact same delay and reverb blocks.... wither the only difference at all between scenes being a diff drive block. When I switch scenes using the manual buttons on the front of the Axe3.... my wet effects continue to ring out with zero noticeable cut-out...

So on this topic.... I have my GT22 on the way (once it ships) and want to go the RJM ADAPTOR route. What I’m curious about is if there is a “nuetrik Jack adaptor” type connection for the side of my board. I don’t want to keep trying to plug into the GT22 itself because I’ll have pedals...

System Error/Issue HELP!!!! (SOLVED -THX)

I turned the Axe3 on today and something is wrong. The output 1 & 3 meters are maxed out and I’m getting zero sound from the unit. I’ve tried: 1. Removing all audio, USB and Midi cables. Power cable is the only thing plugged in 2. Firmware installs. Went back to 1.18 and then back to 2.02...

CLR Cab vs Wedge... which one is the right choice?

I'm searching for the best cab solution for "at home" play only. Is there a difference between the CLR cab and wedge other that one points the speaker directly at your face and one doesn't? i'm trying to decide which route to go between the two. I'm used to playing out of a Bogner 2x12 cab...

RJM Mastermind PBC

Hey guys.... Rookie Fractal owner being born here! I have my XL on the way as we speak. I plan on using my Mastermind PBC from my analog board to control my Axe for now. Are any of you doing the same? I'm curious how well the PBC will function in the Axe world! Thanks! Jay
