Have you been able to make any more progress on the next album? I'm really looking forward to the next one. I've been having a lot of fun with the kill 'em all presets, they sound great.

Nailed the MKII C+? riffs, melodies, solo's, cleans OH MES! Presets inside

I haven't created any folders in axe edit. I just tested it in axe edit and all I do is pull up a blank preset and drag a block from one of the extracted folders on my desktop from the zip file, into axe edit and it drops onto the grid. It won't let me drag more than one at a time though.

You extracted the zip file and have the folders with the block files right? You should have 2 folders with block files and 2 CSV files when it's extracted. I only have the XL+ but you should be able to drag the blocks(files that end with .blk) one at a time from the folder over to the grid on...

I may be opening Pandora's box but thought I'd offer to convert over XL+ presets to blocks for older Axe FX users. I'm not really looking at converting entire banks of presets,o_O but let me know what you want and I'll convert them when I can. I'm already planning on converting Guitarjon's...

You should be able to create a new preset in axe edit and drag and drop the blocks into the new preset the way they are in the screenshot that's in the folder with the blocks.

Here's the CSV's, I also saved the presets as blocks with screenshots as I figure that is easier to load up. Awesome job Jon, looking forward to the next Metallica presets.

The patches on the first page are for the XL+. If you download the zip file I posted and extract it, it will have folders for each preset with the blocks that you can load with axe edit for the older axe fx units. Just create a new patch and arrange the blocks like they are in the screenshot in...

Sorry I don't have a patch to offer but I did want to tell you that you can try out the awesome Kill 'Em All presets that Guitarjon did, I saved them as blocks with screenshots in that thread. Unfortunately he hasn't got to the Justice presets yet...

I exported all the blocks for the new Metallica presets that Guitarjon did I exported all the blocks for the new Metallica presets that Guitarjon did into folders with pictures of how to arrange them in his thread. So you should be able to load them up.

One thing I did notice when I was loading all the presets was that the 4 horsemen left preset when loaded is displayed in axe edit as 4 horsemen R.

I haven't actually played with any of these yet but I saved all these as blocks with a screenshot in the the preset folders for people with non xl units. I only have an xl+ so I can't test compatibility, hopefully these work.

Owwww Yeah! XL+ upgrade just arrived!

Congratulations, I pulled the plastic off mine right after I turned it on since I have no intentions of ever getting rid of it :) Now I'm trying to patiently wait till you get the time to start putting together the updated Metallica presets. Have fun.

I had the same problem and had to change a setting in iTunes. In iTunes open the preference window by clicking the icon in the top left corner of iTunes and select preferences (or press ctrl and the , key). Then select playback at the top of the preferences window and at the bottom of that...
