Can I still record DI tracks through SPDIF or would I have to switch from using the focusrite to using the axe as my sound card? Ideally I'd like to use the focusrite as my main hub without having to switch things back and forth because it gets wonky for me sometimes (reaper on windows 10)

The AC20 EF86 B channel with the timmy up front to tighten it up, the AC20 is stock except the gain was at 3.5 and a good chunk of the drive came from the timmy. You definitely wont be disappointed with this pack, there are a lot of rich sounding IR's in here!

Another thing to consider is that the change is going to affect amps that rely on PA distortion much more than those relying on preamp distortion, could be a contributing factor to why you don't hear much of anything

I usually don't gravitate towards the friedmans, I find them to be on the harsh side with the exception of the small box and dirty shirley. That said this update has balanced them out quite nicely for me. My go to's sound even more fantastic

Agree with all of this except the small box and TX star, the small box has always sounded fantastic right out the gate with a good greenback ir and the TX star with its factory cab and the treble cranked is one of my favorite clean sounds

I set the threshold to an extreme setting so every other parameters adjustment is obvious, set my attack and release (generally 15-30 and 50-100 respectively), make up gain, adjust my look ahead, and then back it off til it sounds right to me. I also set it to peak+rms as well

Had this riff idea kicking around for a long while now and decided to lay it down, tele bridge into a superverb vibrato into the ml brown super sm57 a IR (the fuzz was just a stock hard fuzz block up front), bass was the ad200 into one of the 3 sigma 8x10 bass IR's I can't remember which

Thank you! All the cleans were my tele's neck pup with the FET boost at stock in front of the 6G4 Super, made everything tight and forward That part is what I had played initially, everything else came from messing with that progression :) thanks!

Cool Time With Plini, David Maxim Micic, and Nick Johnston

You'd be surprised how often it usually is just amp and cab, I know Aaron Marshall has said hes usually just using a 50 watt plexi model and can for leads etc. Its all about the right cab choice and getting the gain right, and the right guitar. What are you using?
