Making Humbuster cables from TRS to TRS cables- question

Hi! You should actually solder the R to the S, cause that's the way the humbuster circuit works. No jumpers, no free wires, only R+S soldering.

Logic X Buffer Size When Using Axe II Into UA Apollo 8?

Hi! 128 is pretty enough for a thunderbolt interface, however you can try both 64 (if you feel the latency somehow) or 256, which is more common for USB interfaces. The only difference is an amount of latency you actually get and the CPU load of your mac. Try experimenting with different numbers.

Axe-FX II as channel strip in DAW

I sometimes use all of the AxeFx's effects for mixing literally everything. It works perfectly even for mastering though. Ultimate guitar processor? It's also the ultimate mixing tool ever! "To infinity and beyond!"

Fractal MFC vs Other types for axeXL+??

If you plan on using an FCB1010, I highly recommend purchasing EurekaProm 3.0 chip. It is much cooler, I still have my Behringer as a backup controller. EurekaSound's eprom is designed for AFX (and 3.0 for XL+ specially) and now supports up to 768 presets, and that's pretty awesome!

Looking for a power amp

ART pro make pretty nice class D rack amps, but Matrix is actually better. VHT PAs are nice too, even though they can be quite heavy, but if it's not a problem, it can be pretty good choice. Things to NOT look at are Behringer PAs, they are really quiet and color the sound a bit. As for Matrix...

Is this possible? Axe Fx with external interface.

As Jason said, it is much easier to do if you have a Mac. And as far as I know, it's only available in Logic Pro X and Avid Pro Tools. But I can be wrong. But be ready that this whole set up will consume some of your PC resources (CPU mostly) and may add some latency (in Logic it definitely will).

looking for Adobe Audition CC and Apple Logic Pro X DAW users

If about I/O settings, then make sure you have your unit connected and then create 4 channels. Inputs 1 and 2 are for mono wet signal and inputs 3 and 4 are mono dry signal. If about cc midi preset changing, I don't really know a lot about it, 'cause I've never used it before.

Are you talking about setting up inputs and outputs in Logic or about changing presets within a Daw via midi cc commands? All you need is a USB cable and a driver installed though.
