That doesn't seem to be it, either. That does what I've been doing, just on a single track. Instead of 2 tracks, one Audio In 1 and one Audio In 2, it looks like it just lumps them together on a single track.

I'm 99% sure there is no such thing as a "mono channel" in REAPER. Every channel has either mono or stereo inputs you can choose. I am choosing mono. Maybe I'll try stereo and pan it...

Hmm...where do you mean? Looking at the doc you posted, I see the input 1-4 that I see in my DAW (which...wouldn't those be 'outputs' for the Axe?...) on the left but I'm not seeing anywhere to split the channel. I'm currently using 1 and 2 on the left but 1L and and 1R would make sense...I'm...

I've had my II for years but I noticed something today...in my DAW, over USB, there are 4 selectable inputs from the Axe-FX...1 through 4. I usually just use 1 (or 3 to record dry), but...what do the others do? No matter what I did in AxeEdit OR my DAW, the audio from 1 and 2 was the same. Is...

No. I know it doesn't have one. I just thought it'd be cool if a modeler had one built in as I've never heard of one that did. Apparently I was wrong. 700 bucks is one EXPENSIVE load box! I paid that much for my Torpedo Live!

How cool would it be if the Axe-FX had a built in loadbox? Recording and gigging and all that? Use the built in stuff. Buddy brings over his new Hughes and Kettner Triamp Mark 3? Gotta give it a shot! Plug it into the loadbox jack and use all your favorite effects and cabs in the Axe-Fx...

Yea, I don't really think of it as being all that useful for gigging. I just use it to get the natural feedback that's SO hard to get while recording direct. Works great for that and is kinda irreplaceable in a way. lol There you go, GotMetalBoy!

Yea, man...I had a Parker P-38 back in the day that was pretty cool, but I'm an Ibanez guy. Ibanez didn't do much with piezos in electrics...only a model or two here and there. I got REALLY lucky finding this one. They only made them for a couple years. It's SUCH a versatile thing to have!!

Piezos are cool

Been playing around with my new (to me) Ibanez SA320X and I'm really liking the acoustic-ish tones I can get out of the thing! SUPER versatile!! Rhythm is 2 tracks of the SA320X, piezos and magnetic pickups blended. Lead is an Ibanez S5521Q Prestige.

Setting Input 2 to "L Only" helped as it was set to "L+R Sum"...which makes sense why that'd be quiet. It still sounds...weird...though. And I noticed the Output 2 clipping hard. So...yea...it's better but I still have some levels to tweak. Noticed even my guitar input clipping a bit so...

There are so many levels, settings, etc and if you miss one or get one wrong, it can screw everything up. I'm thinking that's probably what the deal is here. I'll check everything out and see what's going on because right now, I have no idea. lol Thanks!!

So, I put an FX loop block in the chain and everything gets SUPER quiet. I know it's not my Ditto because it does the same thing even if I run a cable directly from the L FX Send to the L FX Return on the back. Not sure why...FX Loop block is set to 0DB...everything's flat. What am I...

Just want to check... Basic TRS/TS footswitches work with the Axe-FX II, right? I'm just wanting to get a basic 2 button one to use for looping...just Rec/Dub and Start/Stop. Looking for the cheapest way to do it while I continue to tell myself I don't need an MFC101... Thanks!

Yea, the UX2 has ASIO drivers and I use ASIO4All for a lot of the driver duty, too. That's not really the problem (er...well..."problem". Everything works fine for the most part) though. The main reasons I want to switch to the Axe are: 1 - Eliminate lag. There really isn't a ton of lag...

Right now, my Line 6 UX2 powers my mic (which I will keep to do this as the Axe-FX II doesn't supply phantom power...wish it did...) and runs my monitor speakers and headphones. In an effort to reduce latency during recording, I'm wanting to run the monitors off the Axe-FX II and cut the UX2...

This is really the only thing I would change about my II. If it had phantom power, it could 100% replace all my other gear. This was a big selling point for the Helix. Still glad I went with the Axe-FX though. lol

Oh, and...I'm BEYOND amped (pun intended) to see the B7K inbound...that's SUCH a cool pedal. Wanted one a while back...came across a B5K for a good price so I grabbed it...had it for a bit and wasn't impressed so I sold it. Shoulda just got the 7 from the start. lol

Since no one will directly ask Cliff about potential new FW...

The only thing I could hope for with an update is the Axe-Edit bug to go the way of the dodo bird. I bought the Axe-FX II SPECIFICALLY to go back to recording over USB, and now the thing craps the bed on me every two minutes. lolol Super annoying. :p Absolutely adore the thing, though...

UPDATE: I've exported the few presets I liked and plan to reset the thing back to stock. Now...how do I do that? I saw in the update folder something that said something like "UltraRes Cabs" or something...do I have to install all that manually? Greatly appreciate all the feedback, everyone...

Just went from Q6.02 to Q8.02!! :-D I really like some of the presets the previous owner put on here, so I'm weary of resetting everything...even though I had originally planned on doing that. And I really want to try the new UltraRes stuff in the Quantum FW... Hmm.........
