Flat vs Layered Effects for Recording

So I may just not be aware of this or it is not possible : When you record anything say in logic for example with a delay on I am wondering if there is a way to turn off the delay after its been recorded or is it final like a flat file in photoshop I have tried to just deselect the effect in axe...

Mac OS 11 Big Sur, any issue so far?

Installed Mac OS X 11 and tested Axe Edit III (Version 1.07.01) on Axe-Fx III 14.04 seemed to work fine, Big Sur came with updated Logic Pro X too didn't have any issue this morning, thus far.

I am having a clipping issue , but trying to keep under the clip treble down on amp block? is there a way to not wash the sound out with bouncing

I am not getting this recording right, I know my Axe FX II XL+ can do a better job, I am doing things wrong I know it .. I have been recorded and trying to get a decent sound but its not working. so I put in a drum loop and play along every time it seems the drums get washed out and the guitar...
