    I saw the screens protectors, but is there some kind of case like a Decksaver? I've got a Decksaver for my Native Instruments Maschine, and that's neat -keeps the dust away when I don't use it. Something similar for my FM3 would be awesome.

    Hi -has anyone put together a nice patch with an Eb (-1/2) or D (-1 tone) tuning? I used to use a Pitchfork but got rid of it, and it would be convenient to reproduce some of those tunings in a clean and a dirty patch. Cheers

    As long as you keep your presets, you're fine. They sell pretty much for the same price as new, so you're not losing money. Once you win the Powerball, you can buy one back :o

    True, I found that it's better to leave the volume on my guitar (Gibson Les Paul, so humbuckers) at around 5-6 and boost it to 9-10 when needed. Gotcha for the bass and treble trim, go mediums!

    Mayyybe, but the difference between two CPUs for a bit more Mhz, or more mem cache is usually a few dozens $. I'm quite sure lots of us would have spent 100$ more to have that. Obviously not a deal breaker since I got one myself, just saying :D

    Benefit of Scenes verse patches?

    I see a preset as a pedalboard you have in front of you. Switching scenes is basically turning on some pedals and some other off, and tweaking some of their parameters at the same time. All of this ~instantaneously. Loading a new preset loads a new pedalboard :)

    Not sure if that's the place to debate about PCs, but just search for netbook on Amazon and you'll get lots of little monsters that will do exactly what OP wants, for even under 200$. And he can still check his emails or watch videos :)

    To be fair, a price is just the meeting point between what people want to make vs what people want to spend. If someone wants to spend that money or more, well, so be it. I wouldn't buy at this price, but if I had a few millions sleeping on the savings account, why would I bother for "only" 500$ ?
