Do You Use 1 or 2 Cabs With Your AX8?

I know that 2 FRFR cabs sounds incredible especially in stereo but how many of you guys just run 1 FRFR cabinet? Does it sound good? I am debating on getting 1 more cab for that stereo sound but another $800-$1000 for another cabinet is a lot of cash. Is it worth it?

Thoughts on Strymon Mobius

I love all my Strymon pedals they are top notch in my book. I’ve had a little trouble dialing in volumes with my Big Sky when using it with my AX8 so hopefully I can figure that out but besides that I’ll never part with them.

I recently purchased the Freman metal presets and I want to have the volume setup for expression pedal #1 and the wah for expression pedal # 2 and also all the factory presets so that they are all the same. Do I have to go through each preset to change these or is there a quicker way?

Ok so I finally got it figured out now my next question is can I assign footswitches F1 for clean, F2 for Dirty, and F3 for lead or do I have to use Footswitches 1-8 for channel switching? It would be real nice if I could use the F switches to change my amp channels

Levels the Same on every preset?

I'm sure this has been extensively discussed but how to I set the volume levels on my presets? It seems like when I go from one preset to another the volume jumps or drops quite a bit. I just want to set all of them around the same level. I appreciate the help.

Freman Presets Vs. Stock Presets?

Just wondering what the huge differences are and what you prefer. I downloaded the Freman presets and love them but I am blind to what the stock presets are and wonder if I'm missing anything really cool

Why are there AX8s still selling on ebay at a premium?

It is absurd that people are still paying high dollar. But I think one of the reasons is that Fractal does not offer Paypal as a option at checkout on their website. Or people just don't realize they are more readily available now.

Well thanks everyone for the input the AX8 worked Perfectly! Absolutely flawless and great sound for sure. Basically They plugged the 8 into the pa and the sound guy adjusted the levels and off we went and rocked it. The AX8 is such a great piece and I will use it wherever we play.

Yeah I'm in the slow process of learning the unit but it's a lot easier for me to use AX8 edit. And it's nice to have the option of having it on the go if I want and obviously a desktop won't do lol. I was just wondering if a tablet would have problems with speed

Digital grungy noise.

I had the same thing happen to my ax8 a couple of times and then it stopped doing it for some reason. . Then after that some of my heavy presets lost 75% overdrive and when I restarted the ax8 it was fine. Kind of scary if your out playing a gig. It was after the 3.50 update when it happened and...

Cool I'll swap the wires and give it a shot. How has the pedal worked for you? Built well? Any issues?

Yamaha FC-7 Expression pedal W/AX8?

Anyone have any luck with this expression pedal? I heard you have to swap the wires to make it compatible with the AX8
