    Yeah the FM9 is a good "Sweet Spot" between the FM3 & AxeFX III. Not as capable (or $$$) as the FX III but runs 2 amps & has enough horsepower for all of the genres you mentioned. The FM3 would be fine for that music too, just not for dual amp setups.

    I think that you can set the pedal settings to only work on a given channel. I'm not sure about what you do for the other scene though - not at my FM9 at the moment. You might need another volume block set for the other channel & routed to the same physical pedal #?
