So how is the AX8 with 4-cable?

One of the doubts of many...how does the AX8 behave with 4-cable method? What about a comparison with the FX8 in this regard (flexibility, noise)? I know that FX8 specs are supposed to be better in this area but really want the opinion of the owners!
