Really like the optical compressor 1. I built my own LA2A clone, which has a great sound on vocals and guitar. "Lady Writer," from Dire Strait's Communique album, is a good example of this tone. With the optical compressor it's easy to cop this tone, including on that great descending hammer...

I did this tonight and did NOT experience this problem. FWIW! I have the tuner assigned to F3, and used that to enter and exit the tuner mode. I have the tuner set to play audio while tuning.

Rave Review of AX8 in January 2017 issue of Guitar Player

They give it an "Editor's Pick"; only concern is no headphone output. Reviewed mainly in comparison to the FX-2; no mention or comparison with the Helix. Review is on pp. 82-83. Philo

First one I've seen on ebay...talk about markup!

People are irrational; the value they place on an item is influenced by what others are prepared to pay, not just what it is worth to them. They can also get caught up in "auction madness" and bid more than they otherwise would. For these reasons, a sniping service makes sense. Philo
