Do you think it's because I'm using an unbalanced instrument cable connecting the Output 2 of the Axe Fx II to the DI input of my audio interface? That's what Output 2 on the Axe Fx II calls for…an unbalanced out. Am I missing something? This is one reason I wanted to use the DI box. If I can't...

I did what you recommended and am using Output 2 Echo and set it to Input 1 to record a dry track. When I record enable the track though, I get an audible humming noise. It get's louder as I turn up the gain on the input on my audio interface (which is connected to the Output 2 on the Axe Fx...

Chris, My mistake…I don't have instrument cables connected to the MFC-101. Not sure what I was thinking. The overdrive pedal is connected to the input of the DI box (not connected to the MFC-101). I did figure out why I was getting the hum/buzz noise. I didn't have the "Ground" button engaged...

Thanks, Sleestak! I like your set-up, but I might want something just a little wider for a couple of other smaller pedals. I might try to go the DIY route like you did. Let me know if you have any other lessons learned that I should consider before diving into that.
