New to Fractal

Regarding monitors...I currently use the AXEFX3 for direct recording only. In the past I had a pair of M-Audio BX5 monitors which were adequate. I upgraded to Yamaha HS7 monitors and it made all the difference.

There aren't many settings. There is "bridge" and "stereo" mode, I have it on "Bridge" because Im going from the Left (Mono) out of the AXE into the Crown (one xls cable). I did try to put the cab sims back on and it sounds much worse. Very muddy and undefined. After EQing a lot I have been able...

Just got the Axe-Fx 3 today WOW! and a MIDI question

Ok somehow I seemed to get the wah to work BUT its always on. On the GT100, the wah has a switch that turns on and off when you step on it I think I somehow need to make that a MIDI instruction too.

Why can't 'amp in the room' feel be modelled?

I use a pair of QSC K10s and I think it sounds amazing. Very clear and great bass response. I did initially have 2 Alto 12" PAs but the QSCs are far superior.

Yup....I just realized thats what I had to do. The way its set up now is that the in the axe control modifier page its set BOTH for EXT CTRL 4 (16) and WAHWAH BYP (97) and in Axe Edit the wah control is set for EXT 4. I dont fully understand all of this but it seems to work. These are the two...

ok I am making progress, I was also able to get the HD500x to turn off delay FS1 (CC# 47) and reverb FS2 (CC# 83) in a patch so thats a good start. I have them to assigned to FS1 and FS2 on the line6 but why dont they light up on the HD500x when I turn them on/on?

Question, if I am able to sell a few things and get the Axe Fx, I almost certainly won't be able to afford the MCF 101. What about the Behringer MIDI FCB1010? Would that work well with the Axe Fx?
