FM3 Great demo of John Nathan Cordy 😎

If you go on his YouTube channel he has a thing called Buy Me a Coffee and if you do that and say you would like the patches, he gives you a link to them. Its a good way to get great patches and also support a fellow musician in these unusual times

FM3 Great demo of John Nathan Cordy 😎

I agree with the above. I like that he is not biased in any way, he just looks for the best with the modeller he is using. IMHO he is a very tasteful player and gets some great tones and sounds out of the FM3. I already have his patches ready for my FM3 arriving later this week. I just wish...

How will you use the FM3? Share your upcoming rig ideas!

I hadn't even considered the Power Stage 170 and that would be a great option. Guitar to FM3 then one side to PS170 to existing cab for stage volume and the other side to the desk for FOH and IEMs. Hmmmm ..... lots of food for thought.

How will you use the FM3? Share your upcoming rig ideas!

My current setup is guitar into FX8 then 4CM to a Boogie MKV 25 and 1x12 cab. It sounds fantastic and I have the FX8 dialed in to suit the band I play in (all function band stuff). I don't have the option to just go direct so if I decide to replace all this with an FM3, I would need a powered...

QUESTION TO ANYONE IN THE KNOW ABOUT CARRY ON FLIGHT SIZE RESTRICTIONS

The last flight I took from the UK to Spain, I would estimate that maybe 25% to 30% of the 'hand luggage' bags or cases I saw being brought on the plane were over the prescribed limits. I suppose it depends on each individual airline, but if it looks about right, they are unlikely to stop you...

Anyone else wondering if FM3 might replace their FX8?

I have my name on the wait list for one but it is not to replace my FX8. That will still be used with the 4CM and my Mesa MKV/25. The FM3 is to give me the option to go direct and also for playing at home without needing a full rig. They both have a place in my set up.
  21. guitarmanUK

How are you using your FX8?

Same as OP. 4CM in to Mesa MKV25 and a simple 1x12 Mesa cab using humbuster cables. Some effects in to the front some in the loop, various patches set up for certain songs and a general patch. The patches then have scenes to suit changes in the songs. No strict rules on what goes where, just...
