[HELP] Axe Fx II Mk II Screen Pixel Flicker

Can't get a low end thump out of a Matrix GT800FX

hmmm, this seems like it could solve my problem. If this does work and I find my resonance frequency, would I be able to just copy the filter bloke on all of my presets? that way I get the same thump from all my presets and amps?

Can't get a low end thump out of a Matrix GT800FX

Anyone else find this problem? It just gives me the shits... I have to throw a GEQ on it and boost the low frequencies, and even then it doesn't sound organic. Apparently the GT1000FX has this sort of thump. Any tips or suggestions? Also I'm running a Marshall 4x12 with V30s

Yeah man, these are pretty sick. I've been watching these lately also. They have a couple on the VH1 Channel and they also have a few more on their own channel. Have a look for those. As for Petrucci, he's a hardcore gear head. He certainly knows what he's doing ahaha.

Wow thanks bud. That means a lot! I do remember some specifics about it. Friedman HBE, either a V30 Cab or Marshall 1960B V30 with a 57 and a GEQ with 63Hz rolled off all the way and 125Hz backed off a bit, and a bit of reverb. After that remark, I'll try re-create it. Cheers!

Tips for better tone with real cabs?

Don't forget that because it's a real cab the higher volume the more low end you get. Well in my experience with my GT800FX.
