Thanks! Im using an OWC external USB 3 drive for all my audio media. Its so fast that Studio Ones use meter barely ever shows any access time. So Im good ;)

LOL! Thanks. Im more musician then computer nerd. I ran a low latency analyzing program but the analysis was way above my pay grade. Im just gonna hope the next Mac Mini that is released has 4 cores like the one I currently own.

Got it!!! I power up the Axe then I use the Mac Audio Midi utility to create an Aggregate device using the Axe as the Audio Input Device and the Built In Audio Output as the audio output. See image. Wooohooo! 35 years as a video editor used to trouble shooting software pays off again...

It has many up sides, but its old code and is slow and inflexible in so many ways when compared to Studio One V3. I enjoyed working with Logic for many years, but I am extremely glad I switched when I see what newer code is capable of. ;)

It IS supposed to work under 10.6.8. I ran a Mac Pro system with the same OSX and version of Logic. A good friend is also running a similar Mac setup. Im not sure why you are having problems with it, but I wish you good luck on what ever solution you decide to use :)

Connecting Axe FX II to mac 10.6.8 with USB

On my Logic software the Axe shows up as an input source on the Preferences/Devices/Input area. Thats all you need to record. Then the AF output must be configured to output digital thru the USB. Then Logic has to be setup to hear that signal. RTM for that info. ;)

Chris, I record the audio from my Axe FX into my Mac Mini using the USB. I dont use an additional interface. He should be able to do the same if he sets up his daw to see and use Axe FX as a source. And then configure the Axe FX output to be using the digital output.

I have an XL with the updated Axe Edit ( on a Mac running 10.8.5) and have no issues. You might want to consider reinstalling the midi driver and checking the cable connection on both devices.

I tried out a few of the presets in the Platinum Pack yesterday. They sounded great!! If any adjustment was desired, its smart to save current amp in X, copy it to Y then reset the amp and tweak until your ears like it :)

Of all my listed guitars below it is my second favorite. I try to play them all, but keep on returning to the 2000 Jackson Soloist SL1 USA. And the irony is Im a rock / blues guitarist that doesnt care for metal at all. The Jacksons tones and action just trumps all the others.

Cab Scratchpad function in Cab Lab 3-Browser not seeing certain sysx

It seem the files from FAS Cab Packs load fine as well.

Cab Scratchpad function in Cab Lab 3-Browser not seeing certain sysx

FRACTAL-AXEFX - IRs_AXEFX2 - XL - Mixes or Speakers Then further down to the specific speaker configuration. Cab Lab Lite Browser acts like its loading the folder I select but nothing appears. Fremens freebies load just fine. Both sets of files are sysx.

Yes I did all that. The link works just fine. As I said the Cab Lab Lite browser will load and see Fremens free cab sys files, but when I try loading the Platinum ones (mix or mic files), they dont load into the Cab Lab browser. The problem is its not seeing The Cab Factory sysex files. I can...

I saw a video where Fremen used this creative technique of loading some cab IR sysx files into the Cab Lab LITE browser then linking CL to Axe Edit and auditioning the various files loaded from a folder in real time. I recently downloaded his new Presets and in them is a Free Folder of Cab IR...

Sounds complex. I will be following the KISS Principle when utilizing IRs (Keep It Simple, Stupid). Multi speaker mixes in Cab Lab aint my thing. But if its yours....Enjoy!

The Bronze Pack really just focused on the Presets... All AxeFX Preset Bundles 450+ (New Preset + IR all in one) 30 Speaker cabs captured then Amps made to match. All Guides/docs/Wallcharts Free Full Support I just spoke to Andy and hes giving me an upgrade code to Platinum. All is well :)

Thanks Manny. I do have the Cab Lab Lite to convert the wavs so thats no big deal. I forgot that I did buy the Big Box Bronxe. So Andy is going to let me upgrade to Platinum. (Are you sure Cliff said that about these IRs ;)

FRFR monitor QSC K12 vs Atomic CLR vs Matrix

I prefer my 2 - QSC K10s (stereo) to my active CLR cab. The stereo just adds a new dimension to the Axe FX. And they are much easier to lug around. The CLR is a heavy PITA to move about.

Yek, I still use (and cherish) this clean collection you did long ago. :) [18.01 UPDATE] G3 preset collection (XL) Will the new Q2 have things similar? If not, if I load in the Globals for Q2 will it affect the old Clean Presets?
