My problem is that for example Dumble amps, I set Master Volume VERY low...typically to 1, and of course I need to set Output Level very high. When upgrading, the Master Volume is turned up to Default, and baaaaaang ! ....Output-level is tooooooooo loud !!! :(

I change the Master volume a lot, so it's a litle bit frustrating that this parameter is Reset when resetting the whole Amp block. One nice Add-on would be to mark the Default Value for these parameters graphical on the volume Controller, but never change when resetting the Amp block.

Hold down "Store" key and press "Tuner" key exactly after 44 hours, and you will get the new Beta version of the 65 Bassman. If you fail, you will get the Behringer AT108 instead.... :rolleyes:

Jack, please tell us how you get this warm "Pat Martino" sound, whenever you have dialed it in on the Axe. I'm playing around mixing 2 amps: - JAZZ 120 together with DELUXE VERB VIB Any other suggestion I can try ? :)

Axe FX quality with regards to AES vs. Analog input

I have used: AES, usb, spdif and analog out. ( Pro Tools HD ) I have also tested Axe FX 2 XL as a preamp/DAC in my (expensive) Naim/Sonus Faber Hi-end system, comparing different DAC's. Conclusion: Fractal Audio did a VERY good job building this box !!! :)

Let-down: Triaxis . Perhaps because I own one and have played it the last 20 years. ( sorry sirius 1987 ;) ) Pleasantly-surprised: Vibrato lux (Greg Koch is one of my favorites guitar player! :) )

We want to capture my Mesa-Cabinet as IR, using Avid as a Mic-Preamp for a Shure KSM32: Axe Fx Output2 --> Mesa power Amp --> Cabinet -->Shure KSM32 mic into Avid Preamp, and we want to route the signal back to Axe Fx via AES. Is that possible ?

We tried today to go AES input to Axe FX2 XL from avid, without success.... We got the "no input clock" message popping up. The plan was to create IR's using avid as preamp for a mic, and route the input via AES to Axe. Is that possible ?

How to run AXE FX 2 with AES/EBU ?

Would you mind checking your CPU meter on the AxeFx next time you're running this setup and see if it's any higher than when the AES/EBU output isn't being used? Same level ! Edit: I have never seen any different in output-level's, but I feel it's hard to set correct levels on the Axe. Some...
