Does the FM3 have enough CPU Horsepower for me?

I have both a 3T and a 9T. They both are really fantastic! I can do a bit more with the 9 but in reality for me, I am able to get a wah, phase, flanger, vibe, econo reverb, amp, dyna cab, pitch and delay with no issues and about 10% cpu to spare. For some of the songs in our set we drop the...

FRFR speaker recommendation?

I continue to recommend the EV-PXM12MP. Fantastic unit! I have 2 of them in stereo. I also run my EVH 100 Stealth 6L6 through a Captor X and into them as well. Sounds amazing!

Trying to find the lightest weight option for protecting axe fx 3

I have my SKB case flyrig case. I find it to be a perfect balance because if I have something lighter, then I am going to have to take multiple trips back and forth. With this case, my FC12 fits in there along with my cables, expression pedal wireless and anything else I may need. The wheels...

Low and High Cut For Live Performance

On the cab block I use 120HZ for the low and anywhere from 5500 to 5800 for the highs depending upon the cab. On the amp block, I usually will go into the ideal tab and turn on the cut switch to remove too much bottom end from the amp when running direct to FOH. Again, it all depends on the PA...

I just updated the presets on mine as well. Took about 20 minutes and then it froze. Restarted it and it was only 2 minutes to complete as it finished where it left off. So great to have the Dana cabs in the FM3 now!

Friedman ASC-10 // Best Settings and Practices?

ASC-10 is a great cab. The trick with those is to angle them up towards you. I had a pair a couple of years back and installed some tilt back legs on them. They worked great. These days, I am really happy with a EV PXM-12MP for my monitor.

Weird thing happened when plugging into Axe Fx III Faslink...kept rebooting....

Yup...this happened to me a few years back. It was the cable that was bad. I had not idea at the time but realized when I got back home from rehearsals what it was. Mine was flashing for a bit and then would re-boot.

A lot of us here have always been amp guys but at the end of the day, many have also realized that you get a heck of a lot in this little box that can do almost anything you need live, recording and rehearsing. I honestly like to carry less to a gig and the FM3 has allowed me to do that with ease.

Securing your wireless pack to your strap

I was using the xvive strap pockets with the Sennheiser wireless units. They work great! However, since I have sold off those guitars, my new J Customs have the reverse jack and the wireless units plug right into that with no need for a strap mount anymore.

I'm running my FM3 into an Orange Pedalbaby 100 into a Bogner 212CB or a Bogner Cube. Both cabs have the Marshall UK V30s and sound absolutely incredible! I get all the punch and bottom end I would get from a head and cab setup. I've been happy with this for quite some time now.

How many people use a FRFR/Studio to dial in the FOH output 1…but use a power amp/cab for back line?

It entirely depends upon where we are playing. Sometimes I run the one output to my poweramp and 1x12 or 2x12 while the other output feeds FOH and other times I just use the powered monitor so I hear pretty much the FOH tone through that.

I have a couple of Friedman ASC-10s, Digitech FreqOut, Digitech Drop, Sennheiser XSW-D pedal wireless and a Pedalbaby 100 for running into my cab.

First time rehearsal/gigging with Axefx3. Things to know?

What I did was add in a couple of Fender tiltback arms on each one. I didn't want to carry any extra stands or anything like that. They work amazing well and were easy to install.

First time rehearsal/gigging with Axefx3. Things to know?

2 x ASC-12s will sound awesome in stereo! I use 2 x ASC-10s and love them! I have them tilted up and they project amazingly well. I usually set the volume on the ASC-10 at 3/4 and turn on the bass cut on the back of the monitors when playing loud.

Opinions on Boss Katana?

I have a Katana MKII head and I can say that it is great! I have a small pedalboard with the GAFC footswitch, my wireless, a tuner, looper and a drop pedal. These were a few pedals that I had left and put them to good use. I went in a bit deeper to change things up through the Tone Studio app...

Poweramp thoughts and Orange 2x12 v30

This is what I use! I run my Fractal into a Pedalbaby 100 that I have racked in with my Axe III and that goes into my Bogner 212CB. It sounds amazing!!!!

My First PRS

It's a pretty rare bird. I believe it is the only PRS custom 24 Floyd with this colour in emerald green metallic. Body is swamp ash as well as the neck being roasted (terrified) and flamed.

What was your first Digital Modeler?

I think from what I remember, I started with this guy....Boss GX-700 was a great unit for the time but the thing kept resetting itself!!! As it usually does, it took Boss a good 2 years before there was a firmware update! LOL.
