    AFAIK they record at 44.1k, not 48k so they can't use USB to record. This is why they run the guitar into the Radial DI to capture the DI signal. Not sure why they don't just set their sample rate to 48k.

    Honestly, I've never really listened to them or used them. I don't have a dedicated room for monitoring anymore, so I either use my Mesa 4x12 cab, ATH-M50 headphones, or Focal Spirit Pro headphones. I hear very good things about them though, especially for their price point.

    I had a set of Rockit 6's. Every time I made a preset using those, they sounded horrible with my headphones and vice versa. To me those monitors are too scooped and boomy for critical listening. I ended up selling them and just started using headphones for monitoring.

    Hitting red occasionally is fine, the threshold is -6db when red lights up. It's when you're hitting solid red all the time that you need to be concerned. Bump it up to 50% and see if it sounds better to you.

    Is your input level set at default, 50%? You can play around with that if you want to see if it helps. Just don't stay in the red. Also, make sure on the I/O menu on Input 1 Mode is set to Left Only. It makes a difference in gain opposed to using L+R Sum.

    Ideally, if you want to want to exactly match the low end response, yes. Just play around with my values vs the amp defaults and see what you like. Like I told Cliff, I really don't worry about it anymore with Quantum 2.

    I got Q exactly how you described. Unfortunately I don't remember what my bw frequencies were since I measured my cab a couple of years ago. Ever since Quantum came out I haven't felt the need to fool with the Speaker tab at all, especially with Quantum 2.

    +1 on avoiding KRK Rokit's. Scooped/boomy sounding. Reliability is crap. I have the Rokit 10 sub in the shop for a bad power amp, and I've had to repair one of my Rokit 6's due to buzzing/intermittent output.
