[solved] Drive block gets super loud for no reason after not playing for a minute

EDIT #4: I found the problem! Every time I pressed play on my DAW, it would send a "reset" command to all MIDI devices, which happens to be the same command as bypass GEQ #3 on the exact grid spot it was on.

Is My Axe Fx Faulty? (Amp Hiss + Audio Clip Example)

Is it just me or playing with one speaker feels better than playing with two

When playing through studio monitors, with a mono sound, playing through 1 speaker feels much better to me than playing through 2, even though it's complete mono and the exact same sound. I'm posting this just to see if I'm the weirdo, or if other people feel the same.

Why Does The Default Band Volume of the Multiband Comp is set to +6db?

How do you go about getting a Bass Tone?

Haven't dialed in a bass tone in my axe since I'm much more a guitar player. But still I'd like to plug in my bass and get a nice tone for recording my rock/metal songs (both pick and fingers). Any tips on how to get started? Amp? Cab? Drive? Multi band? What do you personally use? Cheers!
