    Just found this post, and I've got the same question. The volume decays as a function of time. Does anybody know if that's expected behavior? I've got the reverb in parallel with mix at 100%, and the hold controlled by a CS with Per-preset switch #1. Many thanks!

    Bug? Ares 1.0 ac30tb gain (vs af3)

    I've got an AF3, and noticed this when the revised cathode follower model was done in FW5. Seemed significantly more gainy/raspy. I've got a '67 AC30, and it doesn't sound this way. The earlier tip of turning the input trim to 0.5 was a help here.

    This enhanced treble behavior doesn't happen when booting to the original factory presets that I've looked at, and the wah is still bypassed in the copy of the presets. I'll check the actual pedal map and report back.

    I've had this happen occasionally, too, on Windows 7. Happens with Windows Media Player, too. Unplugging the USB cable and re-plugging often fixes the issue. Again, this is an occasional issue.
