    As above. I think in general it's not a good idea to massively change the core tone mid song so any laggy changes will only be between songs.

    I think what we all want are a few Mulitfx blocks so we aren't having to string together 5 blocks to emulate one Strymon/H9 preset. From a useabilty POV the axe is still more of a "utility" than an instrument.

    We ended up going with a peli that fits the Axe and the pedalboard. It's the right weight to check in (just) and I know no matter how hard they try the baggage handlers won't be able to break anything. They're not cheap but I'm sure there's a peli solution that'll work for you.

    Hi yes, Qlab can do all of that. It's very stable vs running a massive DAW session. Your problems are likely OSX issues, unfortunately Mavericks and Yosemite are not great for audio at the moment. Some interface drivers are better than other though. Motu have been pretty useless if I'm honest.
