AX8 switch question...revised

I don't know if I'm doing this right but I thought when you did a press and hold on on a switch assigned to an effect the green light should come on ......least that is how I thought it worked before...now just the y light amber comes on .if I do a press andhold...is there something I'm doing...

AX8 Switch Question

My bottom row is presets my top row is effects...it seems that these switches are no longer Sticky..I have to tap them now to turn them on...if I remember right they were sticky...was that a change in this last firmware..that I missed..... or am I imaging things,....I have press/hold for x/y...

Cause I couldn't see the Display from way up here.... Added Large Preset Display: The Global Parameter "DISPLAY LARGE PRESET" with the values "NO", "1 SEC", "2 SEC", "3 SEC", and "4 SEC" was added. When set to any value other than "NO" the Large Preset Name will display for the period of time...

Question on the clean amps................

The AX8 sounds amazing....but...........I'm noticing on the clean amps..........there just seems to be a lot of....compression going on........I'm not using a compressor...and I've been all over the dynamics tab...still can't get the compression sounding right to me....I'll be fine in the end...

Fractal-Bot app question

Kinda stuck on an issue so I'm soliciting ideas.....I can use the Ax8 edit fine but when I try to do a backup...the fractal-bot app does not see the midi in or out..with the usb cable attached .....I changed out the cable but AX8 edit works so can't be the cable....?....changed the port and...

Question on the output level sounding better at 12 o'clock

Is it me or my ears tricking me....but the AXE-FX just sounds better when I turn it up to around 12 o'clock or so like a real amp would...............that is certainly very cool....but my neighbors will soon be hatin on me...can't do cans cause to me out of an FR is the only way for me...

Horrific Pop when creating X/Y Cab's (Quantum 1.01)

Has anyone else noticed in AXE edit when creating X/Y cabs...I set up a X cab and then click on the Y to set up another cab there is this horrific pop.....it goes away after I create a Y cab and save the preset ...any idea's am I doing something wrong?...I hope I'm explaining this right.....I...

I turned off the Cab simulation and turned off the amp in AXE Edit on my AXE FX II then pumped it into my Quilter Toneblock 200 into my Jet City 2X12..........so I am wondering by doing this..... is this what the FX8 will sound like?

Message Timeout

Occassionaly I get a Message Timeout when doing a Backup of the Banks with the Fractal Bot.....then I have to power off the AXE and power back on to reset it..... anybody else experience this?
