Random reset - quantum 7

Hey guys, I've been having this issue for a few weeks now, and it happens both in a live setting and also while running axe edit via USB at home. The axe fx has been randomly freezing up and resetting. So all sound cuts out, the screen goes blank and it resets. After about 10 seconds it is back...

Looking for smooth lead tone (pick noise)

Cheers mate, working on it and its sounding slightly better. I found the compressor worked better after the amp block, but also cut a lot of level, possibly compressing way too much hahah.. I generally use 1/4 note delays but will try with 1/8 instead.. I wish i had the pick attack parameter lol!

sorry guys i hadnt checked this for a while.. i ended creating a delay using the rhythm tap delay combined with a mono delay using 1/8th and it comes pretty close to the rhythm i was looking for but i will try these out as well, thanks heaps!

yeah i get that but i am running with a conventional cab setup, and im definitely going to be using a full backing track as it will be pretty full with different sounds haha. ill be happy just mixing each loop as i play it.

The only questions i have left is the best hardware to connect the devices(axe fx and midi controllers) into ableton (macbook PRO) Also, is it possible to use the mfc-101 for the looping functions and/or to have them automatically start/stop/overdub at certain points in the main clip..?

I should also add that i am using Axe FX Ultra. I think im following what you're saying though, and i will need an interface with more than just 1 in 1 out.. I am wanting to send abletons tracks through the FOH and just use the looper to go back to the axe fx..
