    That worked fine at home with my Macbook, but at the gig's soundcheck, the sound dropped after a minute never to return. When i plug the usb cable, sound comes from te mac speakers, plug it in it recognizes the Axe but no sound. How to fix this?

    When I try to update I get an error message after a couple of seconds saying "can't receive" The axe is already in the update screen on 0,1% and stays there. I rebooted and luckily it restarted fine. Backup worked perfectly.

    well, it made me make the leap to FRFR, so yes, that's a huge one. This firmware and the new Ellis speakers provide the sound and feel of tube amps, at more manageable volumes, infinitely more convenience in variety and switching and much lower weight.
