Disabling power amp sims doesn't effect CPU usage?

Just noticed if you disable power amp simulation in the Global menu it doesn't change the amount of CPU usage. Just curious why, I was expecting to see a CPU usage drop like when you disable cab sims. No biggee just wondering.

It seems that momentary sends the Midi CC for the press and the release I can't really tell. Seems wrong. The issue I had with in the other thread was that in Axefx mode if I had multiple preset switches referencing the same axefx patch let's say patch 001. I couldnt set the individual mfc...

I use my MFC in non axefx mode like a traditional midi controller. I wanted to know what type of AI type I should set the switch to be to get the get the tap-tempo to work the best. Is it momentary, toggle, Auto?

EDIT: completely my fault i accidentally set the same CC for output volume and tempo. Im an idiot... ughhhh. All fixed well figured it out... Using an IA on my MFC for "Tempo" sending a midi CC and had it set to "toggle" because any other setting seemed to double whatever tempo i tapped, and...

On the GCP I can set the bottom 4 switches to change presets and the top 8 to be IA switches. Then for the bottom 4 I can set each to be the same preset if I want and each can have a different set of IA on/off settings. Is that possible on the mfc. I hope.

How many don't use reverb at all for live?

I use it on everything. I always use it with the Ducker parameter so when i'm playing and busy there isn't much and it only comes in at the trail of something decaying. Best of both worlds

Well, 1.06. Wow. This amp just got better. It sounds thicker and more aggressive. It's hard to describe, it's a beast, even more than before. I have instantly become a Badcat fan. I'd buy this amp tomorrow if there was a 100 watt version.

Not sure exactly why, but almost every amp I try sounds much more alive and bouncy with clean and high gain when i set the preamp dynamics to around 2.0 and the XFormer match to 0.850-0.950 . Give it a try :)

i have a Superego pedal in front of my axefx that has a buffered circuit that is always engaged. If the rear input is equal to the front in this case I'd rather use the rear because it's easier to hook up everything at shows that way. Also, was just curious what the buffer did to the secret sauce

Certainly a big difference in the low end in drop A tuning. Q1.00 very round full and slighty more wooly compared to the new firmware. 1.01 seems to have tightened things up, so it bites more. I think it's a positive thing for cutting in the mix.

AC vs DC power supply parameter. Try it :)

DC seems to be a bit tighter/agressive for high gain. There also seems to be a slight level increase so back the volume back a db after switching to get a fair comparison. ... should be called the Tesla/Edison parameter ;)

they are super clear. Almost too clear. They have an Alnico 8 magnet in them. I guess from their description it gives the pickups a super tight sound without having that ceramic vibe. Terrible description I know haha

How to set a VHT 2/90/2 poweramp to be flat?

just curious if anyone know what to dial the presence and depth at to get a VHT 2/90/2 to be it's flattest response.
