CLR active wedge - too bassy?

I'm a CLR NEO active wedge user as well and can relate to your issue. One thing I do realize is that when I play live and have the clr turned up, the sound is excellent and not bass heavy at all compared to playing in my untreated room. So I don't really worry about it too much since it sounds...

I also came from the pod hd 500. Didn't sell it either because I'm using the pod as a midi controller for the axe fx. It works and gets the basic functions down. One thing I do miss from the pod hd is the patterned tremolo. I can't seem to replicate that one with the axe Sent from my iPhone...

The neck pickup I ordered is coming Monday. The hum/buzz is only on the bridge position. If I move to position 2 (split), the Hum disappears. I'll try just taping the red and white cuz I have them soldered somewhere. I'll check when I get home! The weird thing is... If I tilt the guitar forward...

First time playing loud yesterday. Wow!

Same experience here on the first time I used the axe fx ii for an outdoor gig. I cranked it up and the sound guy ran to me and asked what I was using cuz he didn't see any BIG cabs on stage (using CLR wedge) and that it sounded GOOD. I said it's the Axe fx ii. He looked very puzzled after that...

First Impressions of the Atomic Amps CLR
