Good points i did use older Axe FX II:s whit USB and Analog ways i know those routes, spdif is new for me and i want try that i have new soundcard as well would nice to get some benefits about of that as well.

Focusrite control panel has some settings. input section on there you can add more inputs. Should i add spdif input via Focusrite control panel, or does it even matter because one spdif it does not need that.

Do you mean running two spdif cables i should pick SPDIF/AES IN for clock and SPDIF digital input source, and then i should pick INTERNAL Focusrite clock? And if i do that kind of wiring whit two cables, should i add SPDIF input channel on Focusrite control panel?

Thanks again for reply yep i know all that stuff already, thing is i do not want touch any Factory preset settings. I just want just update them to newest algorithms, there could be so much changes easter egg stuff as well. That is best for me, just try that update first.

FCB1010 Midi Cable 3 Pins Connected?

Is it safe to use FCB1010 to Axe FX II 3 pins connected 5 pin midi cable, does it do any harm or damage to FCB1010 or Axe FX II and does it work like it should? Cable what i was thinking to use is Cordial CFD 6 AA, its 5 pin midi cable but what i did read its using just 3 pins and not 5.

That would be cool, but i want playing whit stock presets without touching any settings. Just hear how new Firmware sounds and stock presets, because there is tons of new stuff going on. Latest Firmware what i did use were FW13 something.

Upgraded to Quantum from 16.01... presets sounds shitty

About same thoughts here always when comes to update Firmwares unfortunately ,re-tweak all presets is huge step for me also i don`t see point to do that if all was fine in past already. But one thing what i have been request few times in past ,is that FAS would give use possibility to purchase...

Exactly still would be nice to hear more clips between those two ,I`m still waiting that Vitor Mancini Petrucci IIC+ Album Tone Matched clip whit G3. He did record some clip for G3 Axe FX II Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier amp sim some times ago ,but IIC+ and John Petrucci:s album Tone Matched clips...

What made you decide to go Axe FX?

I remember this video was biggest thing for me to purchase Axe FX II ,i did sold my old Mesa Boogie Mark IV rig and all my rack units to get money for Axe FX II.

Cliff, need a bunch of amps to model?

Nice sounds wonderful if that will happening some day ,we can then see some of those Original source amps. Also what i would like to see some day happening ,is some FAS factory tour video or even some photos for there would be nice.

I see check also then if that 5-band EQ is set to same way like G2 did have after poweramp or between preamp and poweramp ,not sure did that 18.07 have option to choose 5-band EQ locations because that feature did come few Firmware:s back definitely check that first.

Yeah i was thinking first to be G2 and second G3 after listening those both clips ,i have not hear yet any clips for G3 model that are similar like G2 that why i was thinking if you can get close enough share some clip. Now listening again that your clip somehow i hear there is big difference...

Digi tech Drop -who has this type of accuracy in the Axe?

Same here Whammy DT when needed to drop my guitar tuning down that tiny -5 semitones ,over a year tweaking Axe FX II pitch block for drop my tuning down for few songs was enough IMO.

Axe VS real. Are Controls matching?

What i have find is that all those control knobs working about same like Original amps do ,but difference comes when you try match same settings like you did have for your Original amps. Those Axe FX II control knobs values are not always same like Original amps have ,lets say if you have some...
