Recording Question - High Gain Brain Pain

Cheers for the feedback everyone! Yeah i ran into this before, i was tracking stereo and was getting the worst high end angry cat hiss. when i switched to mono that helped. Lol, also ran to this before and made sure its switched of. and yes the recording an play back are roughly the same...

Dial the honk out of the Tube Screamer

Just wondering if you are really cranking the OD OP? I used to set up my Axe FX OD like i would the real world equivalent with the output all the way up and it did not sound right. Thankfullly, once I dropped the output to 7 or 8 it sounded much better.

Bug? Main Input Source Issue

Hi guys. I apologize in advance as i am not sure is this a Fractal issue, Logic Pro issue or an ImNotAhab issue. The issue I am having is when I change Main Input Source under I/O - Audio to do a re-amp, then back to Analog (In 1) I no longer get any audio from the Mac. I still get a normal...

I think I'm finally "getting it"

Not a too dissimilar experience here. The Axe Fx is at best humbling and and at worse can make you feel like a moron of Denis Rodman proportions. I too followed the herd sonically. Spent weeks tweaking the FAS modern to get modern (dare i say it) Djent-ish tone but ended up getting REALLY...
