unfortunately, i am not good at dialing up a great tone. i've tried and tried, i just suck at it. more dependant on other's presets for my enjoyment. any company, bundles, great ones on the axe exchange, etc would be more than appreciated. i like EVH, page, gilmour, rock, etc. but also clean...

is it possible to use a guitar synth application with axe fx 2?

was wondering if it could be used on stage as a compliment to the axe fx if a song needed a particular sound that is not covered by another band member. don't really want to drag up a computer or an elaborate set up to achieve the sound. just a thought.

i would like to add to mr poparad's original post. thanks alot folks at fas. i too use my axe 2/ mfc 101 for all of my outside playing and i don't need the extra slots for presets and cab ir's. i could 'upgrade' to xl plus, but like the gentleman previously, it would take a great deal of finesse...

Do i need a power conditioner when i play live?

a little off topic, i have been getting trouble with cords at different venues through my axe fx 2. there is really no rhyme or reason for the noise, meaning i have had problems with elixir cords and then plug in a cheapy and all clear. any rec's on a great, shielded 10 foot cord? thanks

i have my mfc in scene mode for gigging. love it. however, presently the up/ down buttons are set up for up down banks. so i have to hit 'reveal' to switch presets in a bank, then 'reveal' to get to scenes. i would prefer to use up/ down buttons to change presets, so that the ia 1-5 buttons...

looks like i got a pack loaded, great. question, none of the presets that appear in the video are in the pack that i can pull up ie 'dual evh 5 scenes', 'morgan ac20 5 scenes' etc the pack i pull up goes from 'fender 5F8 Tweed 5 scenes' to 'vibrato verb AA 5SC" am i loading an earlier pack...

question about changing amps in a preset

my observation, and i could be wrong, is that if i am in a preset ie. factory preset, and i wish to try out different amps, the 'new' amp has the same values (bass, mids, etc) as the 'previous' amp and not its default parameters. is that correct? please explain how you experienced guys audition...

i have AKG K240 mk 2 semi closed headphones and 4 krk vxt4 monitors set up in somewhat like the corners of a square to me sitting at my mac. i am no audiophile or experienced listener. to my ears, i can hear in greater detail with my headphones.

First Show with Axe!

looks great. any secrets to setting up the mfc 101? i have been hesitant to take my axe/ mfc 101 live because of the set up. i am still using the 11 rack (i know right) because it is so easy to switch around. also, what about the fancy tags, did you make those?

cooper, i have made it through about half of the creative live course, i purchased it so i hope you get some $$, and wondered how one would go about tone matching from a kemper? do you go over this in the course? i learned tons from the scene portion of the tutorial and how to use x-y stuff...

like so many others have posted in this thread, mark's videos on youtube went a long way to me purchasing the axe fx 2. i was happy with my 11 rack and kept telling myself that i didn't need a new device, but every time i went to the videos, i knew i would have to get one. congrats to both...

question about amp default settings when changing amps in preset

it appears to me that when i change an amp in a particular preset, that the 'new' amp retains the settings from the replaced amp of the existing preset. is this accurate, and how do i get the factory preferred settings to pop up when the amp is changed? thanks
