Thanks for the feedback! Will definitely give that a try. I just got superior drummer with the Andy Sneap SDX and this is one of his presets so I thought it would've had enough reverb on it. I'll play around with it some more. Thanks!

Whats the best way to increase gain on a single amp with a controller

Well using the input trim would also lower the gain so it'd be counterintuitive to what you're trying to achieve, that's why output level is the way to go as it won't affect anything else. Yes, you just have to play around with those settings until you have the smooth transition you're looking...

How do you drop your pitch a half or whole step?

Only issue with this is he uses CDj's and he's pretty old school - very limited knowledge of technology! I'd have to convince him to buy a laptop and load his whole collection onto it, then download the software - could be very difficult! Plus, this is just something we do for fun once a month...

The issue I have is that I'm currently jamming with a mate who is playing drum & bass/techno type stuff and some of his tracks I'm in tune with and others I'm maybe 20-30 cents out. I could tune accordingly for one track on a second guitar, but still be out the slightest bit on another track...

I think I might have to settle for this myself. I've tried using the pitch block with the above method but it just isn't natural enough. The latency kills it. I know Simeon has come up with a way to mask this somewhat, but it's still not usable for normal everyday playing (for me anyway)...

Are you using Enhancer for recording?

I prefer the sound of using a delay block, setup the same as the Petrucci Rhythm preset, just sounds better to my ears. Normally I would bypass that block when recording as I'm double tracking anyway, but I was mucking around with some recording the other night & forgot to do that - It actually...

FCB1010 pedals auto wah

Certainly can. Once you program the pedal/s to be active in your preset/scenes just assign the wah control to extern 1 or 2 (depending on the pedal you want to use) and select auto engage - fast/medium/slow, whatever you want. Works like a charm! Obviously you can use them for many more...

Love Gojira! Good playing and tone man! I think the snare could be tighter and with a little less reverb, but the rest of the kit sounds pretty good for a stock plug-in.

The more I listen to it the more I like it actually! I kinda like the way it goes from brutal riffage into that bluesy rock thing, it's cool. So a dual rec you say? What guitar/pickups are you using?

That's one meaty tone you've got going! Just curious what the preset is. Which amp/cab etc... Kinda sounds like Dime's Far Beyond Driven sound to me (which I love!) Just needs some tweaking to cut through a little more and get some more clarity. I think it's a good chunky riff, just maybe used...

Hey Jeff, welcome on board! I'm a complete newb myself but I can help with 2 parts of your question. 1. You can always re-install all of the factory presets if you ever want them back from the Fractal website support page here - Fractal Audio Systems - Support 2. Fractol-bot is extremely easy...
