FET Input Boost option in the Amp Block JBL K-120 Impulse Responses The ability to visually design amps by drawing the circuits and dragging/dropping adjustable components. Also being able to see the diagram of an existing amp model and make visual mods to it. (This might be an AxeFX-IV wish)

Worth upgrading from XL+?

I had the II, then the XL+ for six years combined. I've been through some major updates (Ultra-Res, Quantum, Etc.) and I expected the III to be a similar upgrade. When I first plugged into the III, I was stunned. It's not just another update, it's an entirely new generation!

Exploring the Fender Models

Start w/ the Magic Six (Drive 6/5.56, Bass 2/1.11, Mid 3/2.22, Treble 6/5.6) and adjust to taste from there. *The second value more accurately reflects the 1-10 knobs on Fenders vs. the 0-10 range of Fractals, but they're pretty close. Here's my go to reference for LP into a Fender Mike...

Powered FRFR Cabinet for Bass?

Howdy, Folks. My band has been using QSC K12s and we're upgrading to Mission Gemini powered cabs. I noticed that they aren't recommended for Bass and neither are the other usual suspects. Any recommendations for a FRFR Powered Cab that pairs well with the AxeIII and a Bass?

Why do I like Drive + Amp more than Amp drive?

Cab in the room and FRFR. How to have both?

You could shunt off before the AMP1 block. Run into AMP2 w/ identical settings to AMP1, but set Supply Sag to 0 to turn off power amp modeling on AMP2.
