How to get this D-style tone out of any of the Dumble models in AXE?

The clean boost or filter trick is great... as far as fet goes it would be like another gain stage.. or adding some jangle to the sound. I owned a High plains drifter for awhile so thats where I messed with the Fet. I was more after the SSS sound vs ODSR but I arrived at it another way...

Hmm I was thinking eventide 3000 with - one side + the other.. I know on metal fatigue you really hear it at beginning part. I hear it on some of AH's recordings. its almost a doubling sound or as if one side is de tuned and always catching up. Its a subtle 1:02 into the song listen to that...

Dumble Classic tone stack

pre skyliner eq is something less then 80hz bass wise and about 100hz the pre skyliner eq had less bass and more raw.. You might try playing with the hi lo filters and you could throw global eq in 3 band or 8 band and see if you can dial things in more there ... If your using humbuckers...

A Bird told me Dumble is building Ec a 3 10 Bandmaster for his 335 right now. Essentially Tweedle D mod too the 57 ' RI 3 10 bandmaster. Dumble just takes new amp guts the boards out and speakers likely and then hand wires them and Id bet they are more then 26 watts. I see the original 3 10...

GEQ slight return.....

I used both standard and de tuned guitar last night same make model setup ect only one is standard one is tuned to Hendrix and the one de tuned would require its own GEQ adjustment.. I would make another patch strictly for that guitar for tunings say Eb or D. My guess Bass is lowered...

GEQ slight return.....

This might be the smarter way to do this.... I was working with this one amp futzing with it all winter and I noticed this on other amps and thought do I need a cap change or pickup change. Not at all just needed to mess with GEQ. The way you mention using it as a block makes better sense...

Well all I did was set up amp and cab bass mid treb presence as normal and as I added efx into mix by the end of having all my efx in or how ever many might be used at same time eg reverb delay drive block amp cab I still wound up wanting to have a brighter neck pickup sound.. sounded like...

I dont know who built your clone so I dont know what they were looking at.. HRM is a hot rubber monkey mod or hot rod marshall. I think Dumble makes a nice smurf sandwich and on top of the goo he puts another board with small trimmers on it INSIDE the amp.. I call them DONT trimmers cause...

This is what my ODSR was made from 183... I requested D reverb on mine.. waited a year for that amp..... Then we put better glass in it and wound up finding the rest of the known D parts installed those here and locked the amount of voltage the amp sees.. Tag paid 55k for 183 then...

Can I update Axe fx II markII from version 12.02 directly to quantum v6.03.1?

So to make a real accurate SSS 150 with the proper tubes and vintage at that would cost about 10-15 grand just for the head.. Thats current Dumble reverb and the proper voltages and tubes ect even the parts would be 98 % there but some are non existent and the transformers would not...

I read these work even better then 4558s.. JRC4559 warmth is still there but more UMPF. lol 452 Dumble Fet 1457 w boss 4558 substitute 4559 warmer and more umpf. Paging Burr Brown I can vouch for those chips sounding stellar and more warm and more realistic and having more umpf. id...

Question I gather this is possible with any amp or amps...? Might be fun to put an amp that breaks faster in front of one that stays clean and maybe create a 300 watt monster. This spawns new ideas.

So how do the new Drives sound?

FANFUCKINGTASTIC I just got back into the PI fuzz also They have nailed the best fuzz ive ever had in my life Dialed in the Rukus then went into the PI Fuzz.. Just really out of this world now... I have not gotten into other pedals yet this time and Q6.3 is here now so dialing...

I thought this might help someone mentioned playing full bar chords from 12th fret down descending till you get the open e chord then playing a folk style g chord and doing this from every pickup position making notes on time stamp so you know ok neck pickup here middle bridge and which...

Axe FX into tube amp effects loop?

I gather this method holds true for amps having passive or active efx loops ? I have some with active efx loops and then some with passive. I think 4 amp method with cab model off is the answer in case of passive efx loop then also. It should follow suit. Should be the same method Thats...

I only know what was used in the originals and that none of the said cloan makers are using anything close.. That should pretty much cover it.. If that is true would you consider all the false advertising as simply that ? I know what I like sound wise I dialed that in already into the axe...

I think we can count this one out since I dont have a sss to send... I could record the ultra phonic and send layout but im selling that amp... I have the layout of that 50watt amp and can re record that but evidently they need the actual amp vs schematics voltages ect.. I can re record...

Buy Deluxe electric mistress which is exactly what your hearing too begin with. its a flanger not a chorus pedal... Try that then when you get one you can get a AXE FX II and match it by ear first use your ears show us all how to do it...
