    I had this issue this summer. I suggest if at all possible contacting support and sending it in to them to repair. They do a tremendous job in quick turnaround and then you know that it is good to go!! I think I had mine back within a week.

    I don’t believe Axe edit does any conversions.....only imports the IR’s into the Axe FX. Cab Lab however can give you flexibility on how you want the IR to end up.

    Actually I was the one who sent them the measurements for the CLR. I purchased 2 of them and they fit great! They do great work!! If I remember correctly they had it listed wrong...I'm not sure if they ever corrected the name. It was the right company but the wrong speaker.

    The current Axe Edit should be compatible with Quantum 10.01 but I haven't gone to Ares yet so I'm not positive. I would just make sure you keep the installer for the latest versions of Axe Edit as insurance just in case.

    I'll second the Silicon spray. Just make sure you invert the AX8 and then spray the switch lightly to lubricate. After spraying work the switch and then leave it upside own for a while to allow it to dry and prevent any leakage in the electronics area.

    If you lost the tops then you need the whole switch. I have tried the glue thing before replacing but be careful to turn the AX8 upside down, keep it upside down while drying and do not engage the switch before it's very dry.

    No evidence of scoring that I can see and the buttons rotate pretty easily. Its just the resistance when going up and down. I think it's just the metal on metal that needs some slippage.
