gapless amp switching

I have just noticed that my FM9 setup produces a gap between amp1 and amp2 engagement. I have both in parallel in the signal. I use a scene controller to mute one and engage the other with one set up for a clean amp and the other set up for a dirty sounding amp. I had it set up the same way...

Are the stock cab IRs enough.

hi all I keep reading about cab packs as well as the cab tools. Is everyone in agreement that buying new ones is a must or are the stock IRs In the ax good enough? Also is blending IRs with the cab software a must? Thanks for your opinions. :D
