Thanks Loopie... Attached the Preset & Cab block which is a tonematch I use with my strat. The Mixer Block is controlled by Extern2 to go from a lo-fi am radio sound (toe down) to normal (toe up). You should be able to replace the Amp and Cab blocks with anything else you prefer for you...

Happens to me constantly. Once it freezes I have to reboot the Axe to get it back. Seems like it happens when I hit a few buttons on the MFC or save presets to another location.

Using scenes on the MFC

Same here as this would be a nice feature to help eliminate some guesswork while playing. I would also love to have a way to set the default scene when a patch loads.

Songs with a preset >= 128

I must be missing something but can't figure out what. I use the MFC in Song/Set mode and can only get presets 0-127 to work properly. If I set song 1 to preset 128, the Axe selects preset 11, 129 and the Axe selects 12, etc. What am I missing?

CAB PACK 4 (UltraRes) Universal Noise Storage

Overwrite library block

I agree, it's very cumbersome to update a block if it is not already the displayed one. You have to select it first, but that wipes out the settings you wanted to save.

Thin lead sound question

I use the "BB Pre" Drive with the drive at 0 and level at 10 to thicken up a lead. The low & high cuts at 700 and 800 hz basically give it a mid boost. Raise the high cut a bit to give it a little more sparkle.

Wish Swap Up/Down Buttons in Song & Set Mode

I've caught both the up & down buttons simultaneously too many times trying to go to the next song (giving a net of no change), so I entered my set lists in backwards and now use the easy to access Down button to go to the next song. This seems to work much better for me.

Axe-Fx II FW v13.07 Released!

Getting frequent updates is new for me, not just fixes but features too. I love it. I used a Boss GT-10 for 5+ years and it never had an update, just had to live with the bugs. Just reaffirms my correct choice of moving to FAS. Thank You!!!

Question about what I need to use the Axe FX II... (sorry, completely new to this)

The MFC does not come with a cable. Fractal recommends getting cables from Best-Tronics at Guitar Cable I recently got a midi and ethercon cable from them and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality. I expected good quality, but these were premium. I highly recommend them.
