Using Axe-FX as looper

The Looper is only made for "Live" Playing Mode... You can not store the loops or use Wav Loops... I use my MacBook now to playback Samples & Loop's... i trigger the loops with a MIDI foot controller... The Looper is the only thing i would like to change in the Axe...

Atomic Reactor or CLR for axe fx ii

CLR > use it also for Studio Monitor... Best decision after buying an Axe! Did also lot's of test with other Monitors but CLR beats them all :-)

Hi, well to me my favorite 80' Metal Amp is the Big Hair with 4x12 Basketweave TV Mix or 4x12 Recto Mix (UR) Cab and your done :-) If you need more use the T808. Never mind but the Big Hair Amp is awesome!

Yet more questions about the looper

Hello, just want to jump in.... I also had this problems and other with the looper.... The looper is fine if you doing things for fun but nothing more... e.g. you can not save Loops etc. So i don't use the Looper any more because it doesn't work well. I have now the Boss Loopstation and it works...

Hello, just did some test with the upcoming Yosemite... The only issue i found is in Tuner Mode. If you open the Tuner there will some Screen Flicker sometimes but all is working fine. It's just a visual glitch and has to do with the Tuner window... The rest is working fine... so far. I found...

... i would say buy a mac mini... it's best value for the hardware... then you can decide if you want use Windows on it or Mac OS X.... Booth work fantasic with the OS! P.S. Linux works also superb' on Mac Mini because all Hardware is supported.

Do I need a headphone amp with the II if I use higher impedance cans?

Headphone is personal taste if you buy one above 150$... I had a chance to try many Headphones out with my Axe... but finally i'm using the DT770 Pro 32Ohm Version because i use it also for my iPod & in loud environment... So the DT770 Pro 32Ohm was the Loudest i could buy and btw very good...

You can use aggregate device. How to combine multiple audio interfaces by creating an aggregate device with aggregate device you can mix Devices different types and use it in any Daw you like... ...and then use LogicX in 44.1kHz. But well i also record always in 48kHz. Just use the Drag & Drop...

Hello, just want to jump in... well did some test and can confirm that the Driver 1.6.8 for Mac OS X works very well on OS X Mavericks Beta 5. No issues in LogicX... no Phase issues also... I'm on FW 11.03 and use Axe Edit 3.0.1 One thing i noticed is that the Axe react faster to the MFC...

There is any real PURE CLEAN presets ?

The best Clean Sound i get out of the Axe is made with Double Verb & Jazz 120 X/Y well to find the Amp's that give a Clean Sound is not hard but to find a Cab that gives you this extra you ask for is hard... I found that the 2x12 Doubleverb D120 (RW) fits best @ moment... work in progress...

V11 Observations

...on Mac what you also should do from time to time.. boot from a other System or Partition... on 10.8 hold alt down while you start up choose recovery... then use Disk Utility and do Repair Permissions & Repair Drive. It solves a lot of Problems... hope this helps everyone who have issues...

Hi, well did a quick test... If i insert The Gain Plugin and activate Phase Invert on one Channel the Volume stays the same... :-) Well i've panned the Channels to L&R... Record via USB Wet & Dry Ch 1-4 (1&2 Wet 3&4 Dry) After that go to IO and use USB as input Playback 3&4 (Dry) > Record...

Help with hum issue

Hello, well just want to jump in... We got a new Room and got a lot of Hum and Noise... But only if we plug in the Instruments... especially if we plug in the Bass... We can rank up the Volume to 100% on the Bassamp & Axe and there is no Hum and a little noise thats normal but if we plug in...

well you can test that if it works but it is always better to do a clean install... than install the Software you use... ... so most Software i use works really well under 10.9 specially on a Laptop! The new Power Management works great & i have now a longer Battery Life... ...played yesterday...

Factory Patch 154 sightly modified ... maybe - Pitch>Chor4>4Tap I'm porting my Sounds over to Axe with Axe Edit and some really sound better than the Digitech... some i still can't figure out. All my Acoustic Sounds for my Western and Semi Acoustic still sound different... try now without Cab...
