My plan is to use the III in 4 cable method on stage.. and also use the LB2 back into the III and go stereo into FOH with IR's...... I ask Cliff if the III will be as quite as the FX8 with a Tube head.... he responding "It will be as good or Better!"

I get it man.... but RJM stuff makes it easy... and your amp doesn't need MIDI .... just research it.... won't hurt anything... I'm glad I had a Buddy teach me/share the RJM stuff with me!!! @skracus

Agreed ..... only this is.... I run an FX8 right now live... and it is truly QUITE .... like I have no hum's.... nothing. and the FX8 is built for that... so, I'm just wondering is the AxFxIII going to be built closer to the FX8 quality as for the I/O's?

Temple Board soft case

I bought the board and the matching soft case..... there is NO way I would ever rely on the board AND case to help protect my FX8 or AX8 ( I gig out) ..... the board is currently a total loss of money and is in a closet and I use the case for gig related stuff, like black sheets and our sheet...

Friedman ASM-12

Like Bishop5150.... 2- Friedmans stay at home ...heavy and awkward Awesome sound though 2-CLR Great but expensive and dont try to contact them.... its like they dont exist Gig with 2-Xitone wedges service is freaking awesome and they sound awesome! I wish i would have just bought the Xitones...

dang... I was looking for a secret tool ....lol ..... I had a feeling it was going to be "just one of those things" .... to help make sure I'm doing everything I can to have a clean path of electric I use a Furman SS-6B 6-outlet Power Block feeding all power to my AX8 and (2) Xitone wedges ....

ASM-12/AX8 Question

don't know if anyone else does this... but I run (2) ASM12's .... run them in Stereo and signal path is this >> AX8 XLR's L&R >> to the ASM12's input.. then I have the Sound guy (most the time is it our PA system) take their XLR L&R thru the ASM12's outputs Easy ... and It seem to work well...

I agree let the ear tell you.... I too, have been using 12db and Proximity on..... it just sound better to me (I mostly use Marshall'ish type amps) ..... what I'm wonder is "WHY" do I prefer.... because I don't see a lot of people that share or sell their presets... use them???

from what I understand people that was on the waiting list for the MI version will be first inline for the MI..... I rec'ved my MII confirmation email that I was on the list on Jan 17, 2016.... I haven't received my invite as of now. its probably going to be very late Q4 before we start seeing...

For what it is worth... Fremen's pack also has i think like 5 "Plexi" cab IR's..... great for Live use.... help cut in the mix!!! so IMHO... the price Fremen ask is a deal just for the 5-Plexi IR's and the JS410 IR (I agree it is good) ... the preset are a bonus lol

Ok i have some live presets that seem pretty good but im noticing the red clipping light showing up every so often on the screen..... Is it ok for "every so often" or is it "this is never ok"? I dont think i hear any clipping noise..... Thoughts please!

X/Y amp models raising overall volume?

Im by no means a axe expert as im learning the fractal way myself however i recall the same situtation (i think) and what i did to fix it was i made sure the the X or Y amp was in the "mute" mode when it was off.... So, if amp Y was being played the amp X would be in the "mute" mode..... it is...

Dude Never thought of that.... Big help! :) I have a full PA system set up in my studio.... try to build preset at about 100 db's. I love the ease of the AX8 and the Helix units (I have both. I'm not a "FanBoy" of either. i'm a "fanboy" of tone....don't really care what brand it is.

What are these ?

Those are For future expansion toggle switches so that you can flip them on the fly live.... Fat, Cut and so on o_O
