Wish BPM Tempo in SETLISTS & SONGS

Just upgraded from Axe FX II to the FM9. Love the song/setlist feature. I used to have to do this with an iPad over midi. Putting my first setlist together and came to the forum to wish for this feature. Glad it's under consideration.

    Mono large pedalboard?

Pedaltrain is 32 x16. I would think that with 90-degree cables, a second row of pedals is possible, and it also has a flight case.

    Mono large pedalboard?

I had a pedaltrain 32 and just switched to the temple audio 34, which I like better, mostly because it is not as deep front to back and it is lighter. The only downside is that the pedaltrain is taller and offers a lot more room underneath for power conditioners, wireless systems, IEMs, etc.

So, clearly I'm not an electrician, but if that amounts to putting your rig on a GFI circuit, is it possible that it makes it overly sensitive to power fluctuations and causes unnecessary interruptions in power?

    FM9 Power Protection

Thanks for all the suggestions. I get the "insurance" of having surge and conditioning, but I'm not quite understanding the need to lug around 100 pounds of battery backup. If the power goes out, I'm at the bar.

    FM9 Power Protection

I'm transitioning from an Axe-FX II to the FM9. As I had a rack anyway, I had a Furman power conditioner in it, but moving to the FM9, I'd like to ditch the rack completely if possible as having less to carry around was a big part of downsizing the rig. How important is it to have surge...

I'm missing something easy but I can't figure it out...

OK, I know I'm missing something easy on this, but I can't figure it out. I have a pitch block in one of my chains and the mix is controlled by a pedal (0 to 100 mix). As I press the pedal and the pitch block engages, I lose a few db of volume. I can't simply increase the level because it...

Sooner or later, that unit is going to be plugged into the net to do an update. Does Fractal monitor the S/N when an update is made? Would be a nice type of "Find my iPhone" mechanism.

    FRFR system?

+1 on the CLR at low volumes. No complaints from the wife who sleeps in the next room while I'm playing and it still has very nice tone at that level.
  19. guitarjim

    How do you mute everything?

I'm wrestling with this same issue right now. So how do you get a feed that is identical as the FOH? Monitor feeds will have their own gain settings. And, I'm assuming that you aren't using a cab of any type off of the Axe. Otherwise, it would pollute your ability to discern your volume.

    Ground loop and Axe-Fx

OK, then no, the pedals weren't the issue as everything on my rehearsal rig is identical and in the same position. LOL. Yes, I absolutely did that. I even checked them on my primary Axe when I got back home (before I embarrassed myself with a dumb post). The settings on the primary unit are right where I set them (VU levels right at zero). On my backup Axe, they are way, way off; right where they were...

I'm in the "Yes" column. I might feel a bit bad about it if the U.S. manufacturers didn't do it to themselves, but they all sent master luthiers over there and taught the Japanese, Koreans, Chinese, and others how to build great guitars, so that they could compete with each other on price. I...

This is a bit of a mindblower for me. I'm embarrassed that I didn't think to try this myself. I have two CLRs and I'm moving to IEMs so I won't need them on stage. Using the CLRs as tops for FOH would save money, and back pain. May I ask what type of music you used in your test?
