What is this audio phenomenon?

My RGB lit-up keyboard gives a lot of fizz if the LEDs are on. Otherwise it's dead silent. Some monitors also do this. Try to eliminate any extra electronics around you if possible, physically move away from them and then try to record. Does it go away?

You just don't know how to operate the space ship yet. ;) It's super easy, though. You have your signal chain as a grid; from there you can choose whatever amp + cab + whatever to your signal chain. Double Verb is the amp model, and it sounds 100% like the real thing (I've owned one, haha)...

Yeah, the Fractal can't accurately replicate the squeaky vintage feel of the footswitch! :laughing: Fractal should release an official VCS edition of the FC pedals, Vintage Corksniffer Edition! Make it rusty and worn and the switches have to squeak. Tube-powered analog display, too!

Now I found it. However, it doesn't work. It automatically changes max to 102, and behavior from 511 is still to preset 000, not 512. Attached is a screenshot.

The problem is that I have 1023 preset slots. All my presets are on 512-1023. I would like to go from 511 to 512 to 513 etc... Instead it goes from 511 to 0.

Fan Noise

This is kinda daunting to hear. A lot of people with MK2s and the fan noise is loud? I've been considering upgrading from the Axe II (which is dead silent), but a loud fan noise is a dealbreaker for me. Does changing the fan void the warranty? I'm in the EU.

Had time on my lunch break to check that video out, and oooooh sweet jesus. That is IT. That's the tone absolutely nailed, right there. I've never heard anyone do it so well, it was almost 1:1 carbon copy of the original. Shame that a more precise signal chain isn't provided - but as she goes...

You're right! I did search the axechange - my main challenge was that most were for Axe 3 so I couldn't test them. I tried perhaps 5 different presets - really none of them worked for me. Got "okayish" results myself, will post tonight when I get back home! Thanks a lot for the reply.

Hardware vocoder routing help!

Ok, I did it very simply. I just played the track in my DAW, with the tracks panned hard L/R. Worked... kinda. There's a big problem. This results in a feedback loop. The vocoded sound is of course audible when it comes to the input, thus it is heard in the DAW again, and goes through that loop...
