    hmm interesting, I always preferred my two marshall jubilee 2X12 over my 4X12's when using real cabs (with same speaker models). they seem to sound smoother to me. do you think that the phase notches and peaks of a 4x12 could make it sound less smooth than a 2X12 when not mic'd?

    wow...I have to admit i was pretty skeptical of the IIc+. Im not really a mesa fan since the few real ones I have played through sounded pretty constipated to me. but holy crap, took only about 30 seconds to dial it in just using MV and tone knobs. This thing sounds really good! thanks Cliff!!
