Synth tone - The Cars - Just What I Needed

Does anybody have or could create the synth tone in The Cars- Just What I Needed? Or perhaps someone could explain how I might go about getting such a synth sound? I know nothing about the synth in the Axe or what type of options I would need to select. Thanks for any help!

Rack Screws missing!

Don't know how this happened but after being mounted in my rack case for a year, I began to notice my left side of the Axe was getting loose in the rack. I pulled it out and the left rack ear is completely off the Axe and the screws are missing! Scary! Anyway, just wondering if anybody knows...

Anybody know what this looper effect is? John Scofield

Hey, just checked out this video of John Scofield and he is using some kind of looper foot pedal at around the 23:15 mark. Let me know if you have any idea what he is using. It looks like you can loop a section pretty easily and he comes up with some wild sounds.

What's wrong with my MFC-101 - Strange characters and $$$$ Dollar Signs

I've been having issues with my MFC-101 since I've owned it. At times (usually at start up) it shows many dollar signs in a row. The entire display shows this. Usually this fixes itself after a few minutes. I've tried 3 ethernet cables so I doubt that is the problem. I've noticed lately...

Yngwie Malmsteen Patch ... Sorta.

Don't use USB 3.0 port with Axe Edit!

Just posting this here in case it's not found elsewhere. If you are having issues with AE, make sure you are NOT using a USB 3.0 port! I confirmed that it barfs badly when not using a USB 2.0 port. It will also not allow you to change amp types when editing, among other issues. Hope this helps...

Rocktron Midi Raider and Scenes

Does anyone here use the Midi Raider with Ver 9 and have some way of getting scenes to work? I'm new to both the Axe Fx II and the Midi Raider so I'm not sure what kind of magic I need to work in order for this to function with scenes. Thanks!
