Eb tuning is such a pain in the...

Almost a 5-year old thread. Gotta laugh because the answers to this OP would probably all be different now. We'd all probably say, "just throw in a pitch block at -1," but this must've been in it's infancy in the Axe-Fx back in 2018? (although Moke mentions it in his comment). Frankly, I have...

Wish A Notes/Comment Section Per Preset

+1 on the Notes wish. Please - a text box somewhere in Axe-Edit to keep some notes on the preset. Right now I keep notes in the label section of any unused scenes and am able to view them at the bottom of the editor when no blocks are selected. Works fine if the preset only has one or 2 scenes.

Feedback simulation - is it possible to fade in pitch block mix with a control switch?

Here ya go! I'm still pretty new to building my own presets, but there's supposedly some mojo that happens when you put the comp before the pitch block (I haven't experimented yet to see what happens if I take the comp block out). The mix on both blocks is assigned to a control switch (I have...

Feedback simulation - is it possible to fade in pitch block mix with a control switch?

Hey Moke. Which Preset? I just bought 20 of your artist/song presets. I'm wondering if it's one of the ones I bought. I definitely want to dig into what you did and check it out.

I’ll play around with that for sure. When you say better results, what do you like better about it?

Feedback simulation - is it possible to fade in pitch block mix with a control switch?

I've got a song that I've set up feedback simulation (using Mark Day's method of a COMP and a PITCH block). But instead of assigning it to an external pedal to fade in the feedback, I would like to use the hold feature of a FC-12 switch. I've set the hold feature to be momentary, so that when...

Bryan Adams - Run To You Preset!

Great preset, thanks for sharing! I ended up using an input gate on scene 4, otherwise whenever I switched to scene 4 I had all kinds of carryover string noise. Worked great to set the input block to channel B with a -25 dB threshhold for scene 4.

Dialing Out High Gain Unwanted String Noise

I'm sure the tendency would be to say, "It's all in your playing technique." But I swear that some high gain tones/presets promote unwanted string noise and some high gain tones/presets serve to dampen it. What I'm wondering is which settings (amp block, cab block, gain pedals, etc) have an...

Oscillating multi tool works great for undercutting jambs too. I would also add that you want to make sure your planks are acclimated to room temp before installing, and if this will be a floating floor (I.e. - not adhered to the sub-floor), make sure to follow the instructions for edge-gapping.

Both sound great, but my vote goes to the burstbuckers- more clarity. I think they allow the tonal characteristics of the Les Paul to shine better.
