Wish A Notes/Comment Section Per Preset

+1 on the Notes wish. Please - a text box somewhere in Axe-Edit to keep some notes on the preset. Right now I keep notes in the label section of any unused scenes and am able to view them at the bottom of the editor when no blocks are selected. Works fine if the preset only has one or 2 scenes.

Bryan Adams - Run To You Preset!

Great preset, thanks for sharing! I ended up using an input gate on scene 4, otherwise whenever I switched to scene 4 I had all kinds of carryover string noise. Worked great to set the input block to channel B with a -25 dB threshhold for scene 4.

My "How To" on Backing Up Your System Settings & Presets

Gotcha. In a windows system are they usually stored in a default folder -- like Program Files>Fractal Audio? I don't want to miss anything when I back up data. Also, besides the effects library, is there anything else not backed up through the Axe-Fx III?

Anyone know of any tricks to be able to use a right-angle cable plug with a Tele? Because the plug jack is recessed in a Tele, a right-angle plug won't fit. So, I'm wondering if there are any solutions (longer right angle plug, after-market replacement jack that is not recessed into the body...

Tips laying vinyl planking?

Oscillating multi tool works great for undercutting jambs too. I would also add that you want to make sure your planks are acclimated to room temp before installing, and if this will be a floating floor (I.e. - not adhered to the sub-floor), make sure to follow the instructions for edge-gapping.

Naked amps vs Live Gold ( which is more suitable for home recording ?)

Exactly this. AND often with presets that sound great in headphone, they don’t sound so great in other ways (FRFR, house mix, etc). But Buddy has managed to dial these amps in so they sound great all around with minimal tweaks.

Gibson Burstbucker Pro Vs Suhr Aldrich pickup comparrison

Both sound great, but my vote goes to the burstbuckers- more clarity. I think they allow the tonal characteristics of the Les Paul to shine better. Especially the “quack” of the middle pickup position, one of the hallmark Les Paul sounds. The Aldrich pickups are warmer, much like the 58-15s on...
