FM3 or Line 6 HX Stomp as multi FX

Talking about modelling algorithms, l6 runs them, FAS delays are just digital delay that adds distortion and EQ to approximate how the equipment might sound. Cheaply.

FM3 or Line 6 HX Stomp as multi FX

None of them are analog or tape or BB algorithms, they are just plain digital that you can add distortion to. Helix actually does the algorithms. FAS is 100% digital. Let's argue about it

FM3 or Line 6 HX Stomp as multi FX

FM3 will have better amps and be able to do more quantity FX, but the FX are roll your own, not existing modeled devices. The helix stomp will sound just as good, less tweakability, faster to dial in, and instant access to pre-existing guitar FX devices, without the detailed tweakability. What...

That's just really high pre delay on the reverb, like 200+ ms, it sounds like pitch shift because when he's playing so fast by the time the reverb gets through the pre delay time he's already tapped 7 notes. Either pre delay on reverb or just clean delay in front of reverb

    Mesa/Boogie Studio Preamp

If all the knobs are off, then you crack the bass knob open where it just barely passes signal, you can palm mute the low string and it won't be distorted. If you go much past 1 on the bass knob, the low end will start to distort.
