Another Head Rush 108 or 112 vs QSC k10.2 speaker debate

I have to use 2 K10's to get a comfortable level above my loud drummer with acoustic drums. The get a little harsh when you have just one. Not enough air moving. We play 80's rock, Journey, Stix, Foreigner, Kansas.....etc

AX8 Not working like a tube amp

I actually have one of my pedals linked to the preamp gain and when the pedal is back it is at about 4.5 and when depressed up to about 8. Master is at sweet spot. So I can cover many sounds with this setup and my volume knob and pickup selector. HSH with coil taps. So from some Eagles, Petty...

This^ That’s why we use tube amps. If you listen to stems you will find cleans are dirtier that you think and gain patches are cleaner than you think from great players. I use the volume from my guitar to get clean from my gain patches live. I rarely use stomp pedals. I also have an expression...

How do you increase your guitars volume when playing a solo?

I use a filter block with a dbboost at the end of the chain. It also comes in handy when you want to clean up with your volume knob and still need a little more volume.

So should I just forgo reverb altogeather live. I'm in a classic rock band playing Journey, Whitsnake etc.. and when I make my patches for the ballad style of songs it sound good by itself but gets sort of lost with the band. I tried adding a mid bump with a filter and it helped a little but I...

Reset

When you rest a block does it return it to the original factory setting from the developers. It seems to put everything to 5, are they the optimum settings for the amps sweet spot that M@ and the other thinks the amp should be set at?

I broke the Cat5 port on my AxeII, took it to my guy and he called Fractal and said they were great to work with and got the part out right away. He also said the build was great, like a tank. LOL.

Creative uses for expression pedal

Dotted 1/8 delay 100% all the way back with 75% all the way up and a curve to 50% in the middle mixed with a shimmer at 0% all the way back and and 100% all the way up. Levels based on patch mixes. I also use a pedal on the input trim to get a boost, all,the way back no boost and all the way up...
